All those below who marked this as to-read should read it. This pairs with Ielle as one of my favourite Janos novels. I'll repeat myself to say that Santhomas' writing is wonderful and descriptive without becoming anything near boring, and her erotic is prime and erotic.
Into this book specifically, I found some of the almost-drama (it is definitely not a drama, but I don't have a better word for interpersonal conflict) to be a bit of a strain- when Ovia is compared to Mayia and so forth. But I don't think this detracts from the story- it is one of the main conflicts, and it is written well instead of deteriorating (as you may see in my other views, I loathe drama and would be hard on this).
It is an awesomely written, filled, and resolved story that kept me enraptured throughout, because the involvement this series has given me with Janos made me love to see so much good coming to Kyr's house.

This is the second in the series. The first was a hit and I was very excited to read ovia’s story. This was a little rough when it came to editing. By the way, the word chewing is not sexy when it comes to body parts...at all. There was still that lack of balance with sex vs. story. Too much sex! Ovia was an interesting character and very well written. As with the last book, the submission is freaking fabulous and the relationship growing between slave and master is skillfully portrayed. There’s an intricate dance and story about the history of this world. It was really rather interesting and of course, arousing.

I liked this one A LOT! It had more of a romance feel to it and the storyline was more concise. Still great BDSM sex and lots of it, but also more than that. I loved that the female lead stood up for herself in this one too. I don't know what order the books were written in, but this one def feels more mature like the author is coming into her own. There were a few spots where the storyline was inconsistent but they got cleared up as the story went on, so it wasn't that big of a deal. Overall, very erotic sexy fun read with a slight sci-fi twist. I thoroughly enjoyed it.
