About the author

George Beverly Shea was a Canadian-born American gospel singer and hymn composer. Shea was often described as "America's beloved gospel singer" and was considered "the first international singing 'star' of the gospel world," as a consequence of his solos at Billy Graham Crusades and his exposure on radio, records and television. Because of the attendance at Graham's Crusades, Shea has sung live before more people than anyone else in history.

This book is broken down to small chapters that list the words to a favorite song of Shea'a with a story from Shea's life as well as a short devotion. I really enjoyed the tails from Shea's life growing up & ministering with the Rev. Billy Graham. It even includes a CD in the back flap with 5 of Shea's songs. A great read. The stories of God's faithfulness are uplifting & encouraging.(I tagged this under the only listing I found for this book, but I actually have the paperback version.)
