A lovely and terribly clever picture book. Only fours words are used throughout, yet a full-on day in the life of a busy family is depicted in the illustrations. Fantastic for all ages of children - there's something for everyone here. (Even some solace for worn out mothers of toddlers!)

Symphony (age 4) can read this book on her own. She started pre-school and this is her first independent library checkout from school. She has read it several times and each time she completes it, she says, “I can read!”

Although, the written words in this book repeat themselves.I think that the pictures in this book to a good job at being able to tell the story.

Makes a good attempt to make the numerous repetitions interesting. Good for early readers.
