It points out the similarities of the vocabulary in English and Spanish and gives the tools to guess the words they do not know, or think they do not know.

About the author

Michel Thomas (born Moniek (Moshe) Kroskof, February 3, 1914 – January 8, 2005) was a polyglot linguist, language teacher, and decorated war veteran. He survived imprisonment in several different Nazi concentration camps after serving in the Maquis (World War II) of the French Resistance and worked with the U.S. Army Counter Intelligence Corps during World War II. After the war, Thomas emigrated to the United States, where he developed a language-teaching system known as the Michel Thomas Method. In 2004 he was awarded the Silver Star by the U.S. Army.

In this tape, Michel Thomas focuses exclusively on the most elusive part of Spanish: Grammar.

He does an incredible job! Explaining how conditional works, especially.

I strongly recommend the Michel Thomas system. I was too advanced into Spanish to start using it from the beginning. There is no reason you should be listening some morning zoo on your ride to work when you could be mastering the fundamentals of Spanish with this guy.

Not as good as the foundation course, it seems 75% of material is just repeating the topics that were already featured in Michel's foundation course. I still enjoyed it, I just thought those 5 hours (each cd features about 75 minutes of courses, not just 60) could have been even more productive if the instruction was to do the foundation course before starting with this one.

The sequel of Michel Thomas' great foundation course.
In the same, smooth manner you build the understanding of a wide range of Spanish grammar and more, useful words and sentences.
After finishing this course, there is more or less just vocabulary building left to do. Great job!!!
