Rate this book
Collectable. An English translation of the Israeli novel (translated from the Hebrew), published in a limited promo edition without ISBN. Rear cover and first page are marked "not for sale". --- Originally intended for all those having an interest in the Kabbalistic code. It incorporates two seemingly unconnected elements, a unique and intelligent thriller and the deciphering of ancient Kabbalist ic texts, along with their hidden and mystical meanings. A professor from Jerusalem, an expert in decoding ancient Hebrew manuscripts, is hired to carry out a mysterious task, one that sends him over three continents. He quickly discovers that if he does not succeed in deciphering the enigmatic manuscripts, the lives of many people - including his own family - will be endangered. Interwoven within the exciting tale are curious passages reviewing the many conquests that the city of Jerusalem has endured during its long history. The book, which has been translated into four languages, was written by Nathan Erez who lives and writes in Jerusalem, in cooperation with Dorit Silberman. Dr. Doris Silberman is a lecturer of literature and has written 17 books to date.
