I didn't care too much for the Dynobots' storyline, but I'm happy that Soundwave is back and Verity and Jimmy are okay

The resolution to the Earth side of Simon Furman's IDW Transformers run. This comes off a bit better than its largely space-based counterpart, Revelation, but not so wonderful either. The Dinobots themselves are kind of bland, and we don't have much time to appreciate the effects of Sunstreaker's situation. At least everything is wrapped up, I suppose. (B-)

It was difficult getting into this story because the characterization was so inconsistent. The Dynobots kept leaving on matters of principle or because this wasn't their fight only to regroup and swoop in to the rescue in the next issue.

This was a fun story and it concluded many of the story lines that had been going on in previous cycles. The artwork was hard to differentiate characters and not so great but I enjoyed all of the action.

All action. Not very interesting. This closes the storyline of Hunter O'Nion and Scorponok

Wonderful. It pulls together the loose threads from the "Spotlight" issues that provides satisfactory closure.

I wasn't sure how much I would like a Grimlock (or Dinobots for that matter) that weren't dumb, but this felt like a great way to update the characters without losing everything that made them cool to begin with. The way Grimlock describes his teams sounds a lot like how The Wreckers are described, so that's a little odd, but it still fits.
