Got this one out of the school library. Inspired some interesting conversations with mum!

A story embracing differences. Follow seven children and find out: what makes them laugh; how they earn pocket money; their secrets, dislikes and fears, etc. This story brings out the inner child unlocking memories tucked away like the itchy green jumper my mum knitted. Scratch! Scratch! Scratch! A lovely read for young children, encouraging further discussion about their likes, fears, etc.

this picture book also helps children to be empathetic by understanding that different people can have different preferences

Snapshots of the lives of 7 children under specific themes - laughter, pocket money, secrets, dislikes, messages, fears, fancy dress and midnight snacks. These are good introductions to discussions on the children's own lives. It's interesting how the kids favour the different children in the book!
