Miss Independent is about to find out the hard way that three is definitely better than one.
Ellen is an independent woman and won’t allow any man to control her, but she is in danger from someone in her past and they won’t stop until she is dead. Ellen calls for help from an old friend and in the process meets two irresistible men who don’t take no for an answer. Sahale and Jack both want Ellen for their wife and will do whatever it takes to keep their woman safe and to convince her that falling in love is nothing to be afraid of.
Ellen was a great character with real depth to her. She is a strong and sometimes stubborn woman and because of this really gives Sahale and Jack a challenge making for some very interesting and even steamy confrontations between the threesome. I liked her ability to be brave even if that meant facing the one trying to kill her. She was the perfect woman for Sahale and Jack who needed someone to challenge them every once in a while.
Sahale was a kind and strong hearted man who was very gentle when he needed to be with Ellen. He was anything but that in the bedroom though things really heated up between these two once it came to that. He really knew how to show her how hot things could get in the bedroom with the right man and he was definitely the right man.
Jack was a bit different than Sahale. Where Sahale was gentle and thought things through, Jack tended to move fast and was sometimes too quick to speak, but he made up for it with his unending charm and love for Ellen. He was also very dominant when it came to their lovemaking making for some very steamy love scenes.
I liked that the relationship between these three developed at a nice pace instead of rushing into anything. Learning about how Jack and Sahale grew up was interesting as well. It was nice to see how two complete opposites became best friends.
I loved the story and how much Ellen was able to grow throughout the book. There was also a lot of action and a few tender moments that helped to even out the heavy dose of romance. I also liked seeing how everyone worked together as a family and did whatever they could to help someone others in their time of need.
For a heartwarming and thrilling romance I highly recommend Commando Cowboys Seduce their Woman by Paige Cameron

My search for vanilla menage was finally successful! Last night I read COMMANDO COWBOYS SEDUCE THEIR WOMAN by Paige Cameron. It had a M/F/M menage, no hardcore BDSM, no anal, and no crazy sex things that I had to Google to figure out what they meant. It even had a romantic HEA with a baby-on-the-way! (Baby with 2 daddies, hee hee!)
Some observations about this book...
* The characters ate a lot of sandwiches. And snacks. And beverages. THEY NEVER SKIPPED A MEAL!
* They all had a very keen sense of smell. If things didn't work out on the ranch, they could probably get a job in Paris as a perfumer.
* A romance with three partners is called a "polyromance" according to Siren.
* The story was pretty much what you'd expect with a threesome erotica...instant attraction, etc. BUT this was not an alpha-caveman story. It was what I refer to as a "caretaker" menage...it's every woman's deepest desire. Sure, she wants two hot sexy dudes to cater to her every sexual whim and ensure satisfaction. But more importantly, she wants a foot massage, and her guys to cook for her and do the dishes. (It's pretty obvious a woman wrote this book).
* The end actually had a pretty cool suspense storyline. I liked it!
Over-all assessment: C+/B-
I liked it, and I bought the next one in the series! Yee haw!

Ellen Simmons had been burnt once before by a man she had given her heart and soul too, but she will never trust so blindly again. With the feeling that someone is watching her, Ellen does something completely out of character, she presses the GPS bracelet that signals she needs help from the Commando Cowboys.
Sahale Connor has been watching Ellen, when her signal comes through he is there to protect her. He recognizes her as his mate, but her prickly demeanor has him realizing that their mating bond won't be completed anytime soon.
Jack Talisman knew Ellen was his met when he met her the last time she was in Wyoming. There is a threat though and they need to find out why Ellen is all the sudden a target.
I liked this one, had a couple of surprises I was not expecting. Ellen is blunt, which I love in a good female character. This was probably my favorite thus far from the series.

Okay so this series keeps getting better and better. I really liked this book. Specially the fact that Ellen confronted her past and fears and came out victorious with two hunks to prove it.
What I really like about this series is that even though there is many sex scenes the author doesn't go overboard with the descriptions. You get hot and bothered but you don't get bored of the same thing for about five pages.
There is also the mating ceremony. I think is very symbolic and romantic that it starts at dawn. We got a glimpse of the next characters and I can wait to see what comes so till next time!!

Shale. Jack and Ellen
I totally liked Sahale when he told Ellen he would love her no matter what. Jack was up front and honest. He is her fierce fighter while Sahale is her lovely teddy bear. Loved it. I really like Ellen now. Love it.

An interesting concept that I wish had more detail behind it. Load of steam. A super hot sexy read!
