A Place To Live is an anthology of contemporary Tamil short stories written between 1960 and 1990. Since I hadn't read Tamil fiction before, it was a good introduction to Tamil Literature for me. The stories such as The Chair by Ki Rajanarayanan, The Daughter-in-law's Vote by Krishnan Nambi, The Plastic-God Box by Ambai and the title story by Gopikrishnan stood out for me. Though I have finished reading this book, I don't think I will ever stop reading it. I think A Place To Live is a good place to start if you're interested in Tamil Literature.
