I took every class I could from Dr. Leona Running while she was professor amerita between 1997-1999 - Advanced Greek, Advanced Hebrew, Egyptian Hieroglyphics, Akkadian, and Syriac. I was often the only student in her classes or took independent study at her home. She was truly brilliant, and an inspiration to multiple generations of pastors and scholars. My love for Dr. Running may have skewed my rating of this memoir.
