Mysterious threatening e-mails, a sad sidekick, and . . . country music? Melvin Beederman and his partner in uncrime, Candace, are really in trouble. Once again someone is out to get them, and this time not even the Superhero's Code can save Melvin from a terrible bologna-filled plight. Candace alone can rescue him--if only she can remember the country singer's motto: "When all else fails, sing about your dog."
Melvin Beederman has launched himself as a flying success with kids and adults alike. And the sky is the limit with this fourth book!
Greg Trine is the author of the Melvin Beederman, Superhero books for children, which he creates with his illustrator sidekick, Rhode Montijo. He is also the author of the young adult book, The Second Base Club. He lives with his family in his Southern California hideout.
my review is that this was not the best book I read but it is really funny. What I learned is that I should take more time in piking my books because I thought it was funny but I expected more from this book like may be more and real action.
short blurb: "you saved my life, Candace" "how could I ever thank you"
Proof that even superheroes can't always save the world by themselves. And, sometimes, fifth times a charm. Every title in this series would look super on your Summer Reading 2015 reading log.
