Much to his surprise, King Ulf's breakfast egg contains a small dragon, who grows up to be a friendly nuisance until the King can find him a special job.
Dragon For Breakfast, by Eunice McMullen is a book that can be used as a book for entertainment. The moral behind the story is that everyone has a "calling" or something that he/she can be great at; this can be an inspirational book to incorporate in the classroom as well. The names for the characters, such as Grog for the dragon and Ulf for the King, were very catchy and would probably catch kiddos attention.
