Purpose Driven Life has truly helped me grow not just a person, but a person with substance as well. I started reading this when the news about my sister having cancer came. I was totally heartbroken, but by this book I was comforted.
It helped me sought new perspectives. This is surely a good book to those who wants to bring themselves closer to God, of course aside from the Bible.

This book was my partner when I was starting my walk with God. A must-buy and must-read for those whose purpose in life seemed blurred ;-)

Great book as a refresher and when one begins to doubt the purpose of one's mere existence.

Several years ago my church did a bible study on The Purpose Driven Life. I bought this journal to go along with that, started it but couldn't keep up with both the study materials and the journal. Fast forward five years and my obsessive-compulsive self still has this on her shelves. Determined to get it done, I re-read The Purpose Driven Life and did the journal with it. Two things keep me from recommending it.

1) The journal is mostly excerpts from the original book. Nothing additional to really help you except for the last few chapters, so a simple notebook would work just as well.

2)Too many pages were given in many of the sections to answer a simple question. And I'm long winded, so for me to say that mean there really were too many pages!

Get yourself a nice notebook rather than this. You'll save money and learn just as much.

This book is awesome. I can't even begin to tell you how amazing I felt about myself after reading this book. Our church did like a series and it taught a lot of the adults, as well as the children, a lot about life in its self.

The Purpose Driven Life (What on Earth am I Here For?)
The book The Purpose Driven Life was made by Rick Warren and is a non-fiction book. This book talks about ways to accept god. What happens in the afterlife and why we are here. To me this book was a completely new thing to read. I got to understand so many things. This book was made by a christian and talks about mostly the bible, me not being a christian I actually got to learn so many things and understand more about life. For every chapter there is tips for learning. On page (35,Warren) its shows what points to ponder, any verses to remember and also what question we should consider to ourselves. This book doesn't have characters in it but it does talk about things in bible like noah and explaining why he was chosen to have the task to build the boat. The books theme or meaning I believe is mostly talking about why am I here, what is my purpose, what happens after-life, and how do I accept god in my heart. I recommend this book to any types of readers. I usually don't read these types of books I usually read something like Harry Potter by J.K Rowling this was a noticeable change of book for me, but it really got me to understand more about life and what my priorities should be. The book The Purpose Driven Life also helps you understand the life a christian, you get to step in the shoes of another and understand them. The book really wants to explain god loves everyone and he loves you, he made you and took his time to create you.

I'm not someone who journals, so I'm not sure why I picked this up. You could almost, but not quite, use the journal without the book, as there are paraphrases for each chapter with prompts for journaling. I'll freely admit that my distaste for journaling contributed to keeping me from finishing the book in 40 days. I did go back after I finished and look at what I wrote and the things that stood out to me from each chapter. I found that a worthwhile exercise.

Pretty insightful. I didn't take it one day at a time because it was getting easily lost in the mix. But, I did like that it was a study that helped me keep in line with my walk in the Lord. I have had this book for many years. Honestly, I did not finish it or the workbook along with it back then. This time around I finished both. Nice!

I just re-read this, 14 years after my first read. In places it was less inspiring and in others it was more. Most of my insights before were still relevant today (I still had my first copy, in which I'd taken some notes). Some, but not many insights were new. I expected to get a bit more out of it this time around.

This book has totally changed my life in a lot better ways. This has changed my view about religious practices, building relationships, concentration on goals one at a time, knowing that God is in control and a whole lot more. I've come to share some of these to my family and colleagues too and have definitely suggested this book for them to read.

I wanted to use the journal alongside re-reading the book, but the journal just repeated the questions at the end of the chapter and didn't really add anything new or supplemental to reading the main book by Rick Warren.

Do very much like the layout of the journal, quality of the paper, bindings etc. The verses are the most inspiring for my use, as I journal.

This is an amazing journal to help you find your purpose in life...to know how to deal with life’s diversities...and how to be part of life’s solutions...not it’s problems.

This is one of those books you should read and put away to read again in a year or two. Truly an eye opener with so much good stuff you can't get it all in one read. Highly recommend.

The journal helped me collect my thoughts about the reading. I found that a lot of profound life changes needed to be made, and I am glad I had the journal to help me keep track of the lessons and needed actions.

This book taught me everything I need to know and answer every possible question I had on my mind. I was once somewhere lost in the world and was a prodigal son but after my youth pastor in Word International Ministiries gave me this book and I immediately read it. I found this book very very helpful. I'm not really into reading except the Bible and anything that teaches me something or mostly something about life but I treasure this book so much I kept reading it over and over again. Everything that the book says, I apply it to my everyday walk with God. Ever since I recommitted my life to Christ, my whole world changed just as many Christian songs mention which I never understood what they were saying but now I do. My dad has been a pastor for many years but I now regretted how much joy and love in Him I could've had if i understood Christianity better when I was still young but now im 16 yeares old and I committed my life to Him when I was 14 and always commimt life. Many said I lost years knowing him but I wouldn't say lost cause i am now found. The book taught me that being a Christian is NOT another religion and I believe that it isn't but it is more than religion. I am currently rereading this book and it made me focus more on life on how I should be living it, thorugh Him with a purpose. I would recommend this book to Christians or mere Christians who are somewhere under a rock or who have questions of uncertainty on how to live life.

When I started this book I knew rick warren was a Christian writer however, I thought the book was finding your career purpose. Once I changed my thinking while reading this I enjoyed it and made many notes in my book. This book does guide you in finding your purpose in life and in the end he explains why it isn't about finding your career. I won't say any more as I want you to discover as I did. I do recommend you take 40 days to read it. Enjoy the journey.

I read this journal while also reading "The Purpose Driven Life". I think that this journal is a good accompaniment to have when reading "The Purpose Driven Life" because the reader is able to write down what they think, experience, and feel from reading "The Purpose Driven Life".

What I enjoyed most about this journal was that there was a prayer for each day.

This is book is SO inspiring and will set your life in the right direction. Please read it! It is 40 chapters long, and the key is to read one chapter per day. You'll love it, and you'll love how it will change your life.
