not much about human figure, more a book about general artistic decision like color, lighting, composition.

One of the better books on the subject, illustrated attractively with mostly coloured pencils. Much recommended for its project-by-project demonstrations, and rather brief texts. And, best of all, it focuses on observation and doesn't dissolve into medical-grade anatomy work.
