Tim Palmer is the award-winning author of many books about rivers, conservation, and adventure travel. He is a photographer of America's natural landscapes and a dynamic public speaker with inspiring slide shows about a range of environmental topics.
Though the photos in this book are beautiful I was actually a bit disappointed. The author mainly focused on multiple rivers in certain states leaving few states out of the book. Do these states fail in the author's idea of beauty or are they unworthy of being showcased. Instead of ten or more from one state add rivers from the states left out. By doing that then this would really be a book about rivers of America not a book of rivers from a few states.
