While I have read several books, about the gay lifestyle, this was the first on the lesbian life style and I must say I could not have picked a better novel to get my feet wet. This duo of authors (G.D. Ellington and K.J. Thomas) told this story as if they were seasoned veterans. I loved the first person narration and alternating of the characters’ story being told

Kendra BKA Kai is the love ‘em and leave ‘em type. As a party planner, she is doing ok in life. When she has a love affair, she is ready to turn in her player card. Will her partner give her all of her? As the story deepens, you will see there is more to Kai that meets the eye.

Geneta is the owner of Black Silk Limousines. She has made it out the hood and is doing well in life and is married to “nice guy” Steven. On one of her Diva days she has chance meeting with Kai whom upon first sight she believes is a dude. As she is attracted to Kai, this raises questions about her sexuality. Will Geneta take a walk on the wild side or will she continue to live the boring married life?

Steven is Geneta’s husband. Everyone has a past and his secrets may cost him dearly. Steven is a dedicated police officer. When he meets Keisha life as he knows it will take a turn. Tune in to see if it is for the better or worst. Will his marriage uphold with all the extra people now in his and Geneta’s life?

Head Games is much more than the title to the book that unfolds itself as the pages turns. It's a vivid description of what G.D. Ellington and K.J. Thomas do to their readers as they anticipate a most shocking ending. I cannot wait for their next novel. I hope they don’t keep me waiting too long.
