I absolutely could not resist getting this when I saw it in my library catalog, and I feel no need to apologize whatsoever. Rainbow Brite was my idol as a kid, and reading this (extremely short) book was such a fun throwback.

Rainbow Brite And The Big Color Mix Up
PLOT: Early one morning before all the people wake up, Rainbow Brite and the Color Kids decide to pay Earth a visit. And just in time because it's look particularly dull and faded. Only a thick fog rolls in and causes them all to panic. They start to trip and stumble and Star Sprinkles go flying in every which direction. When the fog clears, all the colors are mixed up. The sky is green. The grass is orange and yellow. Flowers are blue. The lake is red. The Kid's fix everything just in time and do a check from above on Rainbow's unicorn. They hear a little boy saying that when he woke up all the colors were mixed up. His sister says it must have been a dream. The kid's just look at each other,

MY THOUGHTS: I think it'd be kind of cool to wake up and find all the color's mixed up for a day. I bet it'd be all over social media. It'd even be cool to have a dream where the colors were a lil crazy. Just to break up the monotony.
