About the author

Troy Simpson is an author and a former Research Lawyer. He has written and co-written books in law, notably Win More Cases: The Lawyer's Toolkit and encyclopaedic entries for The Oxford Companion to the High Court of Australia. He is also the author of the popular Funny English Errors and Insights: Illustrated , which has more than 100,000 Facebook Fans and The Funny Dictionary.

Troy co-manages the English Language Skills website, which provides advice on spelling, grammar, and literacy — with a healthy dose of humour.

A fun read. I especially enjoyed the little essays from school kids in the early 1900's. It just goes to show that nothing really changes.
