This book has the ultimate book boyfriend. Marco was everythiiiiiing! The way he fell for her at first sight, watched over her for weeks (aka stalked her), and gives her EVERYTHING she wants. I need a man like Marco in my life!
The ending wrapped everything up into a pretty little bow. This is definitely my favorite by Evie Rose so far!

-the way Felicity was clever and already had a plan to leave her abusive household. She didn't want or need help from another mafia man, in the beginning, at least ;)
-THE PRAISE WAS SOOOO GOOD
-the hero and heroine in this novella had a true connection, I loved to see it!
-Marco gave Felicity every single thing she wanted, all the stuff she didn't have in her previous life. I thought that was really sweet.
-Evie Rose's writing style is amazing, as always. I read this in one sitting!

Oh, I liked this one a lot.
Such a fast-paced novella, with insta everything and an OTT hero that just became obsessed at first sight.
That's how you write hot spice, not overdone, wrapped up in a fine plot, in such few pages. And it was a freebie! I love it when I catch a good read, as a freebie, on Amazon 🫶.
So yeah, I'll be back to finish this series of sweet heroines and obsessed heroes.

This book gave me everything I crave in a mafia romance and then some!!
Felicity is basically a mafia Cinderella, treated like a servant by her own father, who makes Cinderella’s stepmother look like a saint. Then she meets Marco from the rival Brent family and BAM. Instant obsession. And I mean obsession. This man sees her once and proceeds to stalk her (in the most romantic, “you’re mine now” way possible ), watches over her, and gives her absolutely everything she’s ever wanted.
Marco is dominant, possessive and totally gone for Felicity from day one. His empty, lonely world at the top completely shifts when she walks into his life, she’s the sunshine he never knew he needed.
"You're mine. I'm not letting you go now. I' stalk you to the ends of the earth if you try to leave.
Wherever you go, I'll follow. Your dark shadow. I'm that addicted to you, and I'll make you addicted to me too."
But let’s keep it real: Felicity trades one cage for another. She goes from being controlled by her father to being protected and owned by Marco. At first, I was side-eyeing the whole dynamic. It felt a little like Stockholm syndrome, especially since she craved freedom so badly. I would’ve loved more hesitation, more internal conflict as she adjusted to her new life.
That said, the way Marco cherishes her? The respect and understanding that grows between them? Unexpectedly sweet. She learns she’s not trapped, she’s protected. And when she speaks, he listens. She just has to tell him how high to jump.
The ending wrapped up perfectly, no loose ends, just a satisfying, swoon-worthy HEA. This is definitely one of my favorite Evie Rose books!!!

HOLY JALAPEÑOS This was HAWWWTTT🌶️❤️🌶️❤️🌶️ so much sizzling steam but what made it awesome was the heart! The heroine has been broken down, lonely, neglected and experiencing the hero’s love and attention was like water on parched ground! It was so more intense and heartfelt! Loved the stalker element of the hero, too, as he finds what she wants and loves and seeks to give it to her!!
Safe. Hero’s past isn’t mentioned but he doesn’t come off as a manwhore. Heroine is a virgin and belongs only to her hero, giving him the irreplaceable and primal gift of claiming all of her firsts. No others, no cheating or sharing. HEA with epilogue years out.

A good addition to this series. I liked how they met and he didn’t take her right away. He bid his time for the right moment but couldn’t stay away from her. He followed her everywhere and even left her little gifts. Swoon worthy.

Short, cute read
I was hoping for more "stalker" and Mafia vibes. Marco rarely seemed like a Mafia boss.
Most of the story is the two main characters and they're very sweet together. I enjoyed it as more of a contemporary story not so much as a stalker/OTT/Mafia alpha man.

I’m honestly not sure how many Evie Rose novellas I’ve consumed at this point, but it’s quite a few, and I’m slowly working my way through her catalogue. Each one is short and sweet, usually under 150 pages. So far, they’ve mostly fallen into the Billionaire, Mafia, or Billionaire Mafia Romance category. While they aren’t spectacular pieces of literature, I’ve been devouring them quickly. I usually slide a few into my monthly reading as perfect little palate cleansers when I need my HEA and my billionaire/mafia fix met.
This latest novella was cute, with both the MMC and FMC coming from mafia families. Of course, we get our quintessential FMC who needs saving from a sad life, paired with an enamored, obsessive, stalker-ish billionaire mafia MMC who will do absolutely anything to have her.
There were a few elements I found a bit hard to believe, like how he knew so much about her dreams and aspirations when she barely talked to anyone. But if you can dismiss those small plot holes and just roll with it, it’s honestly adorable how much effort he puts into making her life better.
And let’s talk spice! The spice is spicing in all of these novellas. This one gives us some pretty fancy scenes for a virgin FMC, and I swear the only reason these scenes work as well as they do is because most of these FMCs are clearly heavy smut readers. Honestly, smut books teach you everything you need to know to put into practice.

What she didn’t expect was to see his handsome face everywhere afterwards. Then on the eve of her escape Felicity wakes to gunshots. A hand over my mouth. In a blur of noise and smoke, Marco steals her away.
A quick steamy read which I reading a sitting. I loved everything about it, the powerful mature Marco & the brave but downtrodden Felicity. I loved how Marco boosted Felicity’s confidence & made her feel special & the epilogue was the icing on the cupcake!

I listened to the audiobook adaptation. However, Goodreads doesn’t have said adaptation available on their platform.. that’s why I went for the Paperback edition instead.
Back at it again—this time with less chaos, but still enough to make me want to douse the main man in a tub of ice water and whisper, “Sir… seek therapy.”
It’s not as ridiculous as the previous one, I’ll give it that. But still… big ick energy. The kind that makes you question your life choices—and your taste in mafia romances.
What even is this series?! I kept listening out of sheer disbelief. And honey, disbelief is not the kink I was looking for.

Disappointing
I found this lacking. Rather nonsensical. There was one scene where he was chasing her through his home. This man must have corridors to rival Buckingham Palace as she was running down a corridor with him chasing for an extraordinary length of time! It was crazy!!

A steamy romance which was exceptionally written with amazing characters, a great page turner as well as a happily ever after ending. This story has more than just steamy romance in it. There's also action, drama and also some thrills in the pages of this story.
A young woman and a mafia kingpin fell in love with each other in this steamy romance. The two met when the young woman’s father was trying to get the mafia kingpin to do a business deal with him. The young woman informed the mafia kingpin. After their meeting the two started thinking about one another.
When the mafia kingpin left he couldn’t stop thinking about the young woman, he knew that he had to make her his. But it would take some planning as well as time to time to get the young woman away from her abusive father.
The young woman knew that she had to get away from her physically and emotionally abusive father even though her father didn’t claim her since her mother was one of his mistresses. She thought he had a hand in her disappearance. So she planned and was skimming the grocery money that her father would give her to come up with the money for her escape. The young woman knew that if she wasn’t careful that she would be beaten like the other times but she wanted to get away and go to Scotland, she wanted to have her own bakery but she’d settle on just getting to Scotland. The young woman figured she would have what she needed by the end of the month
During the time the two didn’t see each other the woman would find things that she didn’t get amongst her groceries such things like a book that she looked at in the grocery store, an engagement ring she saw through the jewelers window and some chocolate kisses. The woman didn’t know who put them in her groceries bags, she thought that it might be the kingpin but thoughts of what her father told her about no one ever loving her or wanting her popped into her mind so she tried to stop thinking about it. Even though throughout the time it was the mafia kingpin giving her those things.
One night she was in bed asleep when the mafia kingpin came, he took her away from her father’s place and took her to his home. While he was there to get her the mafia that her father owed money to was taking her father as well as his men out. The mafia kingpin promised her that she could go to Scotland. Even though throughout the time it was the mafia kingpin giving her those things.

Loved this story!
If you love possessive, morally grey, and obsessed billionaires and an oppressed, yet intelligent young woman who needs help, then this is the perfect tale for you to read. Marco is a Mafia kingpin who literally stumbles across Felicity while visiting her father (a cruel, washed up mafia boss who owes money to the wrong people) and decides then and there that Felicity will be his. He does become a bit of a stalker as he understands that she is treated cruelly and has no freedom and is concerned for her safety. As the story unfolds, we watch both characters evolve and grow, though Felicity has much to overcome with trust a huge issue while Marco begins to realize there can be much more to his life than being a feared kingpin. Though this is a relatively short story, it does not feel rushed or lacking in continuity, and the characters are developed and believable. I look forward to reading more by Evie Rose.

This was just okay, I always remind myself going into these types of books that I'm not a huge fan of dark romance stories, and while this doesn't feature anything explicitly non consensual, I still can't get past the idea of a weird dude stalking you being a romantic gesture?
The writing her was a bit choppy, and Felicity's pov was incredibly immature and unrealistic, but it was an entertaining enough ride and I did finish the novella, so it had some type of merit I guess.
