Nunca pensé leerme un manga. Este animé prometía tanto y cuando me enteré que la segunda temporada fue arruinada se me rompió mi kokoro otaku. De todos modos, el manga valió absolutamente la pena.

Me parece increíble que el autor haya puesto tantos personajes y cada uno con una pequeña historia, más allá de solo ser personaje de apoyo.

A veces es difícil querer a los personajes principales del animé pero Emma es simplemente un tesoro. Su forma de amar e incluso su sacrificio es precioso.

Aún tengo mi corazón apretado.

Mi è piaciuto molto l'incipit, l'idea della fattoria con i bambini è sicuramente intrigante e mi piace anche il fatto che sia così brutale. Stava andando tutto bene, anche dopo l'uscita dalla fattoria, specialmente con l'arco di Goldy Pond, a man basse la parte migliore del manga per i personaggi, la narrazione e il mix di scene d'azione e dialoghi. Quello che mi ha delusa è stata la fine, per me non c'entrava niente e non era assolutamente all'altezza del resto. Mi accollo il ritorno di Norman e tutto lo spiegone sulla nascita delle fattorie, e altre cose che adesso ovviamente non mi ricordo, ma la fine proprio no.

I cried/got misty eyed several times. The characters are so lovable! Such a huge cast, too. The action is cool, the idea is interesting, art is fantastic. Very wholesome in the midst of a horror landscape. The monsters are so cool and gross and fascinating all at once! Really enjoyed all the different settings for each story arc, too. The ending left me a little sad but it felt right for the context. I had already watched and enjoyed the anime but was glad I came back to read the books, it was worth it.

Un manga stupendo con colpi di scena, misteri, paure e avventure.
I personaggi sono molto ben bilanciati fra loro, anche se rappresentano degli stereotipi, benché non molto accentuati.
La trama è avvincente e intrigante fino all’ultimo manga, dove si prospetta un lieto fine per i poveri protagonisti.

Série commencée il y a 6 ans et enfin terminée. La grosse pause de 4 ans autour du tome 16-17 atteste du fait que j'ai pas accroché à tous les arcs mais la fin est très cool alors ça rattrape !

L'arc Goldy Pond reste le meilleur pour moi 😊

I am a anime weeb. I have never known, that I would read a manga and finish it!
I started this series because I heard the second season of the The Promised Neverland anime was not good enough as it doesn't followed the story as it is. But, I watched the second season. I didn't find it problematic although it was all rushed.
So, here I am, to know what the actual story could have been!
And guess what, I loved manga!
These volumes hold the real depth and the plot points. I don't know I would love this series this much until, I read them.
I skipped the starting 6 volumes(only shuffled the pages as I know what is going to give: ahem!) But the art was good too. Since then, I didn't get back from continuing this series.
I started some mangas long ago, because I couldn't wait for the season of its anime to come out. But left the pages, as it is. Because I bored to death. But this series, The Promised Neverland, Emma, Ray and Normal along with their family drive me till the last pages of last chapter of last volumes(internally sobbing because last pages were whirlwind!)
Emma was such a great protagonist. She was going to be my favourite female character ever written and gonna inspire me forever. And, Ray (Rayyyy!) He is my favourite. I don't know why, I want to hug him at every given panel. Then Norman ("I want to save them. Emma and the others, Cislo, Barbara, and everyone else. In order to do so... I will gladly become a God or a Devil...Emma. ") I loved when he was child and at his white era too. (I secretly wished he confessed to Emma or at least for them to live together)
And there friendship... It was quite sad that everyone underrates these three friendship(I wish to be there friend or family so badly)
There are other characters too, that were not just put there. Like Gilda, Don, Mujika, Sonju, Yugo and Lucas (*tears*), Phil, Gillian(I love this girl so much, but no one talks about her...), even some demons like Grand duke Leuvis and others, I forgot to mention.
This characters journey was so inspiring. I don't know, I would say this about a manga series (before this I found them entertaining. And heartwrenching due to fav characters death!) but here it is: (rn) if there is anything that makes me hope for a better future, then it would be The Promised Neverland series and Emma!
The sad part is that, this series ended quickly.
