Excuse me, we the readers are supposed to feel sorry for Lexi because she has a bad home life and automatically assumes all the girls in the team are "perfect"?!
Not me. Everyone has problems, that's NO EXCUSE WHATSOEVER to take it out on everyone else.
Lexi is just generally unlikable.
And to be brutally honest: it's 100% all right for youngsters to separate themselves from someone who has been deliberately aggressive and/or mean, and that refusing to interact with such a person is a truly valid response to being hurt. Period. The end!
