Genre: BDSM Erotic Contemporary / Length: Novel

After three years of unrequited love, and steamy fantasies, Elfina "Elf" Jeffries has just about given up on gaining her boss's attention. How was any self-respecting woman supposed to seduce a man who was oblivious to her cues? Then the first gift arrived...

Every Santa needs an Elf, and Dayton Kringle is no exception. His offer for a temporary affair, just long enough to get from Christmas Eve to New Year's, will satisfy a three-year craving.

His is a simple design:
One beautiful Elf
Twelve sexy gifts
A little spanking
Some light bondage
And ten days of no-strings sex

...make one very satisfied Santa. But when the ten days are up, will he be able to give up the Elf of his wildest Dominant dreams?

Ugh.

The relationship between the H/h didn't make any sense. After ignoring but secretly lusting after each other for 3 years, the H aggressively comes onto the h in a ridiculous manner. This is a Xmas themed book but most of the references made me laugh. Case in point:

"Stretch you out a bit so that on Christmas morning this Santa can stuff his cock up his Elf's back chimney and deliver his load."

COME ON! That quote landed this book on my ridiculous shelf.

Predictable but not enjoyable.

Too much of the same! After reading the first and the third book in this series, I was really looking forward to reading Santa's Elf. While it started off quite promising, it just became too repetitive and sadly, for the first time while reading a novel by this author, I felt that the explicit scenes were now driving the plot. I can't help wondering what happened to Book 4 in the series? A bonus to the series though, is that it is not essential to read them in order.

3.5 star Christmas story - there's not a whole lot to it, but it's cute and it works. Boss and secretary have lusted after each other for years but never let on to the other. Christmas is the perfect occasion for a hot affair - but she wants more. Can she overcome his relationship phobia? It's a HEA - what do you think?

I loved the Christmasy setting and situations. Perfect for the season. Yet the characters are compelling enough to make this book a great read any time. Elf and Santa are great, and very deep characters. It was also fun to see some of the other characters from the rest San Diablo series show up.

My only real complaint is the few big shifts in time, when Ms Rain jumps over large portions of storytime. I understand why she had to do this, the book would have been almost twice as long if she didn't, but a couple of times she left confused by how much had changed since the last time we saw the characters, and there were definitely times when I wish we could have seen what happens during the gaps, because I believe they were extra spicy.

But all in all this is just a small complaint. The book is very good, and there is plenty of spice without adding anymore. Definitely worth adding to any Christmas list.

What a revision book. This is rewritten by the author and updated.
Though a seasonal story it has good bones. Love the central characters and interaction. Know it all best friend and strong alpha friends of the hero Doms that are each juicy and hot on their own. Has an underlying drama that works so well. This author started the series with weak stories but has grown so much.
This was a page turner for me that only got better and better.

Tired of BDSM romances where the author confuses Loving Dominant with Controlling Abusing Bully Stalker? Then I recommend this book. Some things are a bit over the top, but what really mattered to me was that the two main caracters treated each other whith respect, like adults should. I truly enjoyed their interaction and the development of their relationship.
It also helped that the sex scenes were really hot ;)

This was a cute story. I just had a hard time with two people that wanted each other for 3 years and neither knew how the other one felt. But once I got past that, I could enjoy it. The H thought of some creative presents to give the h. And it had an HEA which is always good.

He is conflicted about having a relationship - especially at Christmas but he has wanted his secretary for years. She has wanted him also but hopes for a relationship which might never come. Hot kinky sex.

A bit in the corny side due to the Santa and elf bit, but was a good read.
