A graphic design project from start to finish is a practical book, especially for people who are just getting started in graphic design. You can begin reading - and using - this book the front, the back or even the middle. We have no doubt that you will find some parts more interesting than others, but if you look closely, you will see that we have arranged everything in order to reflect the course of a standard graphic design project.
Unlike the usual graphic design book, this one is a very simple and straightforward kind of “manual" laid out to be more functional rather than merely a visual vomit of illustrative images. It felt like I was reading an upgraded version of a dictionary: no frills, no distractions, just plain old information. This book mostly talked about the technical aspect of graphic design instead of the conceptual and creative part of it (planning > execution > production). If you already have a working knowledge of the field, then I'd say this book isn’t really necessary. However, I liked how every part of the process was broken down in easy-to-digest sections. Being able to read the entire process in word format was also enjoyable enough.
