I read this about 12 years ago and even invested money in several stocks that I purchased on my own through Sharebuilder.com. It was enjoyable to learn about how to purchase stock and to check on it everyday, but eventually I sold it all and haven't purchased any on my own since. I'm glad I took the time to better understand the stockmarket and to purchase some of my own stock, it was a fun experience and I didn't lose any money (which is the best part).

Information about investing by the industry's pioneer in self-empowerment for individual investors. Includes explanation of life-cycle investing and some more advanced techniques. Some of the market logistics has changed since this pre-web book was written.
