Extremely educational and fascinating introduction to Bison. The book has wonderful photography and describes the evolution of Bison, their relationship to other Bovine species, their typical behavior, their near extinction and recent gradual recovery, their impact on the ecosystem and interactions with humans. Perfect for a road trip to Yellowstone National Park or the Black Hills of South Dakota.
