The thought of receiving an unexpected phone call from a company executive would startle any working-class citizen. Jace Valentine received such a call, leading him, and his family, to accept a relocation offer, where he meets Malcolm Winchester, who sells him a dream home in a newly constructed community. And that’s when everything starts to fall apart.

A mysterious encounter with Malcolm’s administrative assistant starts a chain reaction of unexpected events. His marriage is threatened by his wife’s jealous insecurities. His new home is under siege by unexplained occurrences, putting the safety and well-being of his family in jeopardy. And Jace has a hunch Malcolm is hiding an ominous secret.

It becomes a volatile mix of conflicting personalities, strained relationships, and gut-wrenching decisions, leading to an emotional whiplash. It’s a race against time for Jace to uncover the secrets that may explain the perplexing events occurring within the community. Secrets that, if not discovered in time, could lead to chaos, destruction, and death.

About the author

Kevin Bouyer grew up in Queens, New York, and from a very early age, his desire to delve into the world of creativity was never in doubt. There were no limits to where his creative mind would take him. Whether it was drawing, painting, creating comic books, or building miniature amusement parks made completely out of construction paper.

These creative juices remained with him as he crossed into the world of adulthood, but there was one monumental project that evaded his list of accomplishments — until now.

Born from a simple desire to tell a story and transport readers on a fictional journey, his debut mystery novel, Relocation Disclosure, was released in April 2023, which allowed him to accomplish his dream of becoming a published author.

Kevin lives in Clarksburg, Maryland with his wife and is the proud father of two wonderful young adults. He enjoys traveling, going to the gym, and spending quality time with his family.

haven’t read a mystery novel in awhile so felt like i was due for one and this did not disappoint. i read it in less than a day so that should tell you something.

while i was reading not once did i have the urge to divert my attention elsewhere. the plot line was very captivating and i found myself turning each page with the anticipation of seeing what would come next. it grabbed my attention until the very end. i highly recommend this book!

“Accept what is, let go of what was, and have faith in what will be” is the essence of this riveting book. From the eye-popping book cover to the descriptive words on each page, Relocation Disclosure is a suspenseful story that takes you back in time with many twists and turns that keep you guessing until the very end. The characters are well-developed and relatable. The author does a great job of bringing you into their world where at times you’ll laugh, feel anger and sadness and even cheer them on.

This book is an excellent read. You won’t be disappointed.
