This was the most interesting, unique and original fanfiction story I have ever read!

Bella is abducted to different galaxy where she is supposed to be mated with the Edward, The Emerror of dying race. Will she be able to help him save his kingdom?

Written in the Stars is story full of politics, difficult decisions and love. If you are not opposed to reading some sci-fi romance, I recommend this story from bottom of my heart!

Misunderstanding between Bella's and Edward's traditions or cultures were hilarious. I love the world author created here and I enjoyed this story immensely!

Honestly I've never been a Sci Fi fan, and usually when I'm browsing on fanfiction.net I limit my searches by filtering to romance and humor. I've read all the highly recommended romance and humor stories, but I wasn't fulfilled because I felt like I was almost reading the same story over and over, and they weren't even that funny-- well some of them were but you know what I mean! I stumbled across this fan fiction through one of my favorite author's "favorites" list and I'm so glad I took a chance. This story is one of the most creative, individual books I've ever read! It was so original, I just can't get over you're amazing imagination! I almost want everyone in the world to read it-- to help us all forget our lives here on earth and go to the Forx Galaxy and pretend we are emperors and empresses. One of my all time favorite fan fictions and to be honest, one of my favorite books all together. It was so refreshing to read something that actually had a purpose, not just silly fluff, and it was just so amazing to be completely taken in with a story again, almost like the world of Harry Potter. Thank you so much for this amazing work and I will most definitely be following and reading more of your books when I have some free time!! I completely and whole heartily recommend this book to all of us who just want to escape for a little, who love a romance, who love something original, who love action, and who love a good book.

I really liked this story. I am not a big sci-fi person, yet Ms. Bryan is so great at weaving a great book, and she did a fantastic one with this. I felt the sorrow, the joy, the love. Everything. Great job!

I'm not a huge fan of fanfic in general. I'm not really sure I understand the genre. Really this story is independent of Twilight with the exception of the names. I don't get why fanfic doesn't just use their own characters. Feel free to explain this to me, if you can.

Anyway. Loved the world. Loved the social classes. I thought it quite ingenious, really. The characters were great with only slight nods to their more famous counterparts. Occasionally the whole slavery equal rights stuff got mind numbingly boring, but otherwise it was a really enjoyable read, with some serious thought provoking elements.

This was such a fun story! It really showcased Lissa's awesome imagination and her ability to create her own world even though she used characters from Twilight - she really turned them into her own characters and it was great getting to know them in an entirely different way. Absolutely loved the way Edward and Bella procreated - so funny and cute :)

I have been reading and rereading WitS consistently every year since its creation and it makes me laugh and weep every.single.time like it was the first time.
In fact I have just finished my yearly pilgrimeage to that galaxy and I was, again, blown away by Lissa's creativity and sensibility, I could 'see' the locations, the clothes, the food ... words fail me *shaking head*
Lissa is an amazing writer and a wonderful human being and I'm honoured to interact with her in her FB page.
All her stories are fantastic and I enjoy having them in what I name my Hall of Fame.
Thank you Lissa for the precious gift you gave us by sharing your talent with us.

I read this ages ago! Back when I was into twilight fan-fiction, and I thought the plot was superb, I don't remember how it ends... Actually, I don't recall reading the end, but up until what I can remember, I really liked it.

Synopsis from goodreads: [**"Written in the Stars" is a fanfiction story, the one which brought me to the attention of my publisher.**

Edward is king of a dying race, his planet torn by civil war. Bella is abducted to become his bride. From college student to Queen... Can she learn to love this strange man and help save his people? AU/OOC. Rated M for lemons, violence and mature themes.]

If you recognized the names then you probably realize what source this is a fanfiction of but don't let that deter you from reading this. Lissa Bryan's writing is absolutely spectacular and she's the reason why I went headfirst into reading so many Twilight fanfictions because how refreshing and engaging her writing is. (I only started because I wanted to see how bad the writing for the fanfictions would be considering their source but that is another story).

Written in the Stars starts off intriguingly about Edward who is an alien. Now, while I love Doctor Who, I don't have much interest in Sci-Fi but the premise is catching and her method of manipulating the story captures your attention and makes you engrossed in the story and how it will unfold. She takes small details that you wouldn't think of much and shows us the purpose later on in the series.

Do I recommend it? Yes, yes I do. It's worth it just to wonder what her writing must be when she's not writing fanfiction.
