But when Piper discovered an unwelcome hair in her piece of the treat, she complained at maximum volume and sent Shelly to ask for a replacement. The wise old gypsy woman kindly obliged and gave Shelly another of the delectable snacks, also adding a bit of her own magic recipe which would alter the lives of the young couple forever. Piper and Shelly would soon discover that the consequences of insulting a gypsy's culinary skills aren't so delicious, and that maybe you really are what you eat.

I'm still not sure wtf I just read but it definitely kept my attention and I didn't want to stop reading it. So much happened, it was difficult to keep up. This story was like a fever dream on acid. The title says it all... lol. This was my first time reading Russell Holbrook and I'll definitely check out more in the future. I stumbled across this one on the zon one day and it was only $0.99 for an ebook so I had to snag it. The cover is what drew me in and the title alone. I had to experience this for myself.

Piper and Shelly are enjoying Gypsy funnel Cake at the food truck in a nearby park. There is a hair in Piper's treat so she takes it back and asks for a new one. However, the lady who made this new cake put a special magic touch on it that would change Piper and Shelly's lives and never be the same again... dun dun dun....

This story had a little bit of everything honestly. Body Horror, Satire, Bizarro, Dark Humor, Cannibalism, Curses, Magic, Revenge, Erotica, and even food porn. This is one of those books that you will either love or hate. There really is no in between. Unique and truly one of a kind.
