I loved this book. Right now, the bar has has been set for the 2012 Eisners. And it's been set high. I've shared this book with many a sicko friend.

Really over the top - if you are offended by humor that involves the deceased then you may want to skip this one.

This is one of the strangest books I ever read, but somehow that is just fine by me:) It is a bizarre little tale of two children who try to wake up their grandpa every way imaginable before coming to the conclusion that he has kicked the bucket. All I can say is this book is wonderfully weird!

I don't really have a lot to say about this book except that I really enjoyed it. The bare-bones premise is that Grandpa told his grandkids he'd take them to the zoo, and he'd take them soon, and it's already noon, and Grandpa won't wake up. The writing is very funny, the art is very apt, and the attention to detail is wonderful (I lingered over the list at the back of fake horrible children's books). That's all I have to say.

How does crap like this get published? - Oh, I get it. They have to publish it themselves. If junior high kids wrote it, I get it. It's their kind of humor, but for a grown-up to have written it, I would imagine some sort of bad drugs caused brain damage and thus the poor lad can't mentally grow up.

Deviously twisted, right up there with " Go The F#ck to Sleep. Recommend for all adult children.
