Well illustrated for its era -- it was published in 1980 -- but not much new here, if you've seen every other book on the Mitsubishi Zero, as I have...

But it only cost three cents so what the hell.

A well-illustrated design and production history of Japan's most famous fighter. Willmott emphasizes that the same design features that made the Zero a highly effective offensive fighter early in the war rapidly became issues as Japan faced more capable American planes and was forced onto the defensive.
