Sea monster - actually very sweet.
Plot - 4/10, but who the fck cares? 🔥 It was short and super, SUPER spicy(let’s be honest - just pure pnr🥵) and that's why we're all here, no?😎

Sex positive monster romance
I really wish this could have been longer than a short story, but it’s clear even from the title that it’s short. I wanted to get to know both the MCs more, especially Nyq. He was so sweet and tender with her. And she was cute with him too.

A bit cringy honestly
I love a good monster romance honestly but this was missing a lot for me. One getting to know the characters enough to actually like them or be attached to them. There’s next to no backstory and yes I know it’s a short but some backstory would have been nice.
I know this is fantasy and you expect fantasy aspects, monsters, magic, etc etc but what isn’t realistic in a bad way is how easily this girl just gives in no questions asked with almost no build up at all. A little more story would have been beneficial. This had a lot of potential but lacked in detail and story building. Unfortunately not a winner for me

Obviously being a novella I completely understand that but I struggled with the fact that the FMC gave up her dream so quickly to be with the MMC

I Really Liked This Story!!!
She was trying to make a life she thought she wanted. Freedom to do what she wanted with her life. Instead her sacrifice helped her find the life she wanted forever. This was a really beautiful love story!

This wasn't a bad read.
I'd never read tentacle smut before, it took this book to convince me I wasn't into it, but not because of the book itself. I think it's just not my kink.
It was exactly what was promised, a quick steamy tentacle god-fucking short story. If tentacled monsters and egg-depositing is your thing, this would be a great next read for you!
