Each thread represents one year, a belief, an identity, a persona, trauma, and successes. Imagine…every concept you thought to be true, begins to erase itself. Where would that leave you? Each thread of your life carries identity. When your perceived identity becomes unraveled, what would be left staring back at you in the mirror?



Unraveled reveals what is left and if nothing else is left to unravel perhaps, this is when you reach peak freedom. The elimination of the full picture yields space for someone new to be revealed. What’s left is uncharted territory. Will you be curious to dive into the uncharted?

Phenomenal. Truly beautifully written. This is how I hear God. Not condemning, yet not compromising either. Just Him. Loving. Beautifully breaking you, yet gentle. Wow! Absolutely AMAZING!! If I could give a 10 star rating, I would✨️💜 I know this form of writing isn't for everyone. I would just offer that you open your heart and mind. There is so much wisdom and knowledge offered in this book. If you are new in your seeking, or you have been consciously on your path for some time, there is plenty here for everyone. I have received my own personal revelation, and I am so excited about what is to come. I feel even closer to God after reading this, and I plan on sharing this with those whom God says to do so.

Very repetitive. A lot of what God will do for you and not enough (or any) biblical reference.

Disappointed because I was really hoping to love this one. Will not be reading the new book.

This is a book you read over and over and over again it’s like God’s perspective of God speaking to you. She does a very good job and doing this and it makes me feel like God is speaking to me and shows me that he loves me so much and does not judge.
Definitely recommend especially the audio Book. Very peaceful!

As my first audiobook, it was definitely a good choice. I have been eager to read this book, so I just listened to it before buying, partially to see if it’d be worth it. And it was. If you want to read something that was written by God himself and wraps you in the comfort of His truth. Read this. This book really is for the people that are in the process of becoming undone. Even if you aren’t, read this anyway. It perfectly highlights how God really just wants a relationship with us, and not our forced, scheduled meet ups we are always trying to set with Him.

Will definitely be buying the book, so I can read it again. :)

My main complaint is that the book is written as if it's God talking, and I am not a fan of that. However, I recognize the author identifies as a vessel and that God was speaking through her. Not enough to take a full point away because the content was great, I just felt weird reading it. That's probably why it took me so long to finish. Also, there is not a bunch of scripture reference which would have made this better and probably 5 stars regardless of the written POV.

Ask me to continue cultivating you into a person worthy of understanding the deepest parts of my heart

When I choose to reveal those deep and hidden aspects of me my word and their true meaning to you you will know that I see something in you worthy of carrying those manifestations on earth. This is a simple test of your heart. New wine old wine skins.

Consider your responses to these instructions. When you chose to complain about where I have sent you or who I have brought into your life you are speaking against the cares of my heart. My plans for your life live within the cares of my heart. In return I give simple instructions as they build you will see that where I am taking you is congruent with the plans of my heart. Speak life even when the instructions don’t match what you would chose to do. To be a friend of mine is to care about the passions of my heart
When you chose to care about what I care about you will have more than enough . Your heart will overflow and my goodness will be seen as a testimony through you to bring glory to this type of heart posture you have willingly chosen.

Living a life for me isn’t suffering
If you chose to be a friend of mine you will see things people have never seen before. You will experience a life on earth that few ever get close to experiencing.

Speak life over the people and places I have called you too. The test is there to reveal to you what’s in you

I chose to see you as someone who doesn’t know what they are doing. If you knew better you would do better. If you understood what you were really doing you wouldn’t chose to do it. This is how mercy sees you. Repentance isn’t the words I’m sorry it’s the action of changing your mind

What do you care about today Father
How well do you steward what’s currently in your hand

I will call you to places you feel you still need training but are actually the one teaching others . There’s a boldness I am growing in you where you no longer hide in shame for what once overcame you but you will shout from the mountaintops of what you went through the experience the freedom you live in now. Do not be afraid. That boldness will come. I will cultivate it in you so you are untamed when unleashed.

Beautiful, Holy Spirit inspired, true love letter to every child! His voice is so clear, while through the voice of His daughter Deanna Lorea distinctly also, displaying how our lives together are truly meant to be a partnership, communion of 100% us each and 100% Him, a union, One. Yet how foreign, mindblowing, and hard it can be to accept such love, such a God, such a Savior, Presence, and such Words despite the Truth of Him and it all being more real than everything we actually know and see! The struggle of flesh and sight, what we have known, the familar, and the freeing journey of being loved and taught to walk by daily, moment by moment with Him in faith and the Spirit. The Most High, name above all names, Lord of Lord's endlessly comes low and down in the dirt with and for us, viewing, knowing, loving us just as the perfect Son and Servant Jesus Christ was, is, and is to come to bring us back in Him and home within! Heaven comes down while we wait to go back up to His fullness for the name, kingdom, glory, love, light, life, and salvation of King Jesus who paid it all, died, and rose again for every soul! What a God?! This book and Undignified are so needed and timely for us in today's age and culture where everything is so fast-paced, distracting, and consuming. The true Shalom, Shalom= Perfect Peace of God is all over this! Praise the Lord and thank you!

i cannot fully describe or express just how much this book has been a blessing in my life. deanna has allowed herself to be a willing vessel in the Father’s need of unraveling what has often been felt and known as the harsh portrayal of Him. people have come to know God as this being of you must simply do what He commands or perish when in fact, that is far from Who the Lord really is.

in Unraveled, deanna takes you through the revealings of the heart of the Lord and how it truly beats for you. she does not sugar-coat. in fact, in certain chapters (letters), you do come face to face with the lion aspect of the Lord. but there is so much more. (His anger is only for a moment. see psalm 30:5.)

God wants us to know the true character of Who He is, not the harsh and distant portrayal that many representatives have shown to the world. through Unraveled, the Lord begins to break down those old thought patterns to help you form new and true ones.

this was a wonderful read and study. one that i am sure i will return to often.

I have never been so eager to write a review! This book has truly transformed my relationship with God, and gave voice to so many of the struggles that I have been dealing with or overcoming. I truly felt God in every word that I read—and then reread. This book allowed me to truly feel the love of God that I have been yearning for along this journey, helping me to begin the work of learning to love myself better, as well as others. I can’t say enough about this book! It’s truly a gem that I would continuously thank God for, while actively reading its pages.

I truly want to thank the author for her obedience while on her own journey. She has no idea how many ppl that will be impacted by this work of art!

I’ve read this book three times now. The first a couple years ago and it hit me to the core and rewired my whole view on life. I’m not religious by any means and I don’t believe you have to be to read this book and to understand it. It leads you to ask yourself questions about this life that you may otherwise not ever bother to. This book has torn me apart so I could build back in a beautiful way. I’ve cried reading this, I felt lost but it also kept me so close to “love”. And how important it is to remain on that path but also how it’s much easier than we think when we learn to strip away all the outside noise. Really good read if you can remain open minded.

Affirming, loving, powerful

I was hesitant to read this because honestly I didn’t know I would like it. It didn’t have scriptures but I quickly realized her revelations were backed by scriptures. I loved this book. I read it for a church small group and it challenged me, affirmed me, and allowed me to fall in love with Jesus more and appreciate our relationship. I read this book in a season of what felt like drought and finished it feeling hopeful as I pressed into Christ. Thank you for being a vessel. Buying more copies for my friends and family.

A book written and read as if it were God speaking directly to you in hopes to build/improve your relationship and understanding with Him (Religion taken out of it all). Definitely awe-inspiring and in some chapters felt like the information was specifically directed towards me. Beautifully written. Just a warning it can be heavy at times. I often found myself taking breaks or listening to it in short increments. Nothing terrifying, just heavy. Loved this and am recommending it to any Christian believers.

I was gifted this book by a Sister in Christ and I have savored it everyday since. What I love so much about this book. Is have put it down for weeks and it was like God was waiting on me because when I would go to the chapter I had been reading. It would directly coincide with what I was going through in real time. I believe that although this book was well intentioned, it is not a book to be read when you are new in your walk with God. From the moment I picked it up I had strong feelings of “this doesn’t feel right” “this feels like false teaching”. I don’t usually DNF a book because I like to give it a chance before I make a judgement call but I highly believe, after going back and reading my Bible, speaking with others in my church and using my own discernment that this book should be avoided and not used as a guide in your relationship with God.

I am always slightly skeptical of books like this one that are written from the vantage point of God, but when I saw that this author claimed this book was a direct revelation from God, I knew I was in for a wild ride. Some sections of this book are vaguely connected with things in scripture, while other sections seem to be in direct contradiction to what the Bible teaches. It is never fun to pick up a book that is meant to be helpful and play the “will there be heresy in this chapter?” game.

This book is incredible! It shows that even though we are all human with our flaws, God has made each & everyone of us promises. This book helped me remember who was the final say so during a rough season in my life & brought me closer to God. It reminded me of how easy it was to speak to God if you’d just forget everything society told you you “should” do & simply focus on refining your own relationship with Christ.

LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE this book. I truly feel she wrote this book for me. God truly uses people to spread his message and she did a phenomenal job doing so. I listened to the audio version and she has the perfect voice. I could’ve finish this book in one day but I purposely took my time because I did not want it to end. Wonderful.

It was lovely to read a book about God that wasn’t or didn’t feel like he was a dictator. To feel like someone sees God in the same way that I do, as positive and loving and encouraging and warm was a breath of fresh air and I couldn’t be more grateful for reading this book. I read a chapter each night and spoke to God after and I felt so connected to him. I am excited to read the following books in the series.

Format is great. Pithy and personal. Although some of the concepts are a bit repetitive, they’re good things to have on repeat. I think what stood out to me most was really grasping God’s love for me. He wants to be with me in everything. A sweet reminder of His Fatherly love and how He views me— His child whom He wants to do life with if I’ll allow. This is a book I’ll likely return to in different seasons. It would also make a great gift for any believer in your life.

Anointed. Period

The anointing upon her life and her ministry is evident. She speaks with a cadence of a poet. The pages feel like a portion of Psalms, with a cry for and declaration of God. A guide to those starting, those being restructured by God. Whether veteran Christians or enquirers, this book has something personal for you

I would have loved more references to the word (the Bible). Also Jesus wasn’t ever directly mentioned but the book is written in God’s POV so I didn’t know how to feel about that. Sometimes it felt repetitive and like a bit of a lecture. However some points the book made really made me reflect and I enjoyed those moments.

This is a great book especially when starting your journey with God and your faith.
Each chapter speaks to you. It’s a book you can pick up on a tough day and read a few chapters and feel grounded and closer to Him.
It’s helped me incredibly through some rough times over the last year. This is my second time reading it over and it gets closer and more intimate each time.

This book will give you a new perspective on how God sees you. It will transform how you operate in the world and it's fruitful in practical ways to bring teaching into your life. For warning, it will make you cry at some point but highly recommend it.
