His Claim was the second book in the Banachi series by Winter Travers.

His Claim picked up where the previous book left off, with Murphy kidnapped by a Banachi enemy. I enjoyed both Murphy and Tatum. I also enjoyed the storyline. It was suspenseful while simultaneously providing the history between Murphy and Tatum and bringing them into the present. I also loved Jada, Tatum’s best friend and employer. She’s hysterical and the perfect heroine for the next book, His Sacrifice.

This was a fun read we found ourselves laughing out loud throughout it. Tatum and Murphy have a past they dated he left her behind because he didn't want her to be touched by what the man did for a living. and the danger it brought. Surprise! fate has something in store for the couple once again.


The story was full of action full of drama and some hot sexy bits throughout. We thought that Tatum was downright funny in the mix of danger she had quite the sense of humor. Murphy calls her baby girl with that voice of his and it is enough to send shivers down a girl's body. Loved their teasing and playfulness between them.

Loved seeing quite of bit of our favorite characters from the Devil Knights mixed up in this ongoing plot this time around the old ladies are hilarious they made us laugh, loved Gravel's grumpiness and how he grew on Tatum.

Loved being on Murphy and Tatum's ride to finding one another once again. Leo and The Devil Knights have teamed up once again to solve and end the current threat to family and friends and they are one step closer now, it is not over, in the meantime, the Banachi men are taking cues from the Knights men of securing their happily ever afters. One thing is for sure Tatum will fit right in with the old ladies just fine. Loved it fast-paced read for us.

After devouring book one and the ending that left me curious what would happen, I was ready to get my hands on Murphy’s book and I devoured it as well. Murphy finds himself in a predicament but what he wasn’t expecting was the one who got away to be there with him. He knew immediately he had to do everything in his power to get them out of there or at the very least protect Tatum at all costs. While they try to get out of their situation Tatum wants to keep him at arm’s length because he shattered her heart 5 years ago. Murphy and Tatum’s history was amazing until Murphy thought he was doing what was best for her by ending things since his lifestyle is dangerous, but now they are thrown together to fight off the bad guy and Murphy refuses to let her go again. With lives that are completely different and things that could pose a threat will they be able to hold on to a love that has lasted through the years, or will Murphy walk away again? Such a great read with intense moments and a love that burns bright all this time. I love this series because it has it all action, steam, and emotions to keep you invested.

Book 2 of the Banachi Family is as thrilling as I expected it to be, after all this is the Banachi Mafia family along with the Devil’s Knight’s MC and their hilarious ole ladies we’re talking about. Ms. Winters has given us readers a real treat with Tatum and Murphy's story in “His Claim”. It’s well written and the book will have you smiling, laughing and holding your breath for a happy ending.


Murphy and Lucy were a couple 5 years ago when Murphy broke it off. In his mind he broke it off for her safety, fearing her getting caught up in his mafia world, something he never explained to Lucy. But neither has truly moved since then. Fast forward to the present and Murphy realizes his worst fears when both he and Lucy are kidnapped and wake up together in an unknown location, neither knowing how the other got there. But Murphy vows to get her to safety. Can he and if so, will he finally come clean about his lifestyle and let her in? While he knows who has kidnapped them and why, Murphy and the Banachi’s fight is not over, leaving us readers clamoring for the next book in the series.

I absolutely LOVE this series so much, and I sure hope Winter Travers never stops writing about this family. Murphy & Tatum had a thing in the past until he let her go since he didn't want her to get caught up in his life, however, ironically they come face to face again when she's been kidnapped & thrown in the same room he's being detained in so it's safe to say she's now caught up. The reason for the second chance isn't ideal but hey, maybe this time he'll get his head out of his behind so they can be together since they haven't lost their chemistry nor the feelings they caught. They escape but have to stay under the radar until the psychopath who is after his family is caught so cue the insane heat igniting again. On top of that, obviously the twists are still coming in hot like crazy as the evil chasing them is wily which also adds an action packed kicker to boot. All of this is perfection in my eyes, but wait, there's more. The supporting cast had me laughing so much throughout that my stomach muscles hurt in the very best of ways so yeah, I never want to leave this world, and HIGHLY HIGHLY HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

His Claim is Book 2 and I would highly encourage you to read this series in order as while each set of characters are different the story does continue regarding the mafia world right where the prior book ended and our beloved MC bunch makes appearances. Murphy and Tatum shared a past, but I bet they never thought they would reconnect the way they did (lips sealed). This story is full of suspense, love and claiming what he should have claimed five years ago (although timing was off). You will get a good laugh at Jada and I will say never question us readers, especially a bookstore owner cause do you really think they believe the call in reason. Yeah, NO! But...funny! The Bananchi and Devil's Knights together whether from the men's side of business or the ole ladies is hilarious and I think each time we read a book with them intertwining it gets even funnier even with the bad that comes along. I highly recommend this series or the MC series if you love to laugh, enjoy suspense and so much more.

Ooooh, Leo got a little annoyed this time around! Not with Murphy and Tatum finding their way back to each other. Nope. Not that. For a dangerous man, he’s sure got a soft spot for love. But he finds that people are trying to protect him when he’s doing the same for them, finds that the reasons it’s been so difficult to take care of a Brandt problem is because of something in his own house, and that Brandt really does want to take them ALL out. So, yeah. Leo’s got a right to be super annoyed now.

And now we have another happy man. Murphy gets his woman back, maybe he finds a way to keep her with him, and he could be an investor also. But I have a feeling that the business he wants to invest in is about to have some serious problems….problems of the “Leo and the guys are on this” variety. I just wonder what chaos will come with this latest twist. It’s sure to involve alcohol and questionable decisions, at the very least.

What happens when your past becomes your present? Well Murphy finds out in His Claim. We pick up right where His Reward left off. Murphy being kidnapped, BUT imagine his surprise when his love from 5 years ago in in the exact same basement.
Murphy gave Tatum up, because he didn't want to bring her into this part of his life. He knows his life can be dangerous and refused to let her become a part of it. Tatum is a cool cucumber and literally goes with the flow. When she and Murphy are reunited she knows that her heart has always been his. She also knows that they both needed the break to grow as people.
I enjoyed their story and enjoyed Tatum getting to meet the old ladies even more. LOL. The shenanigans they get into never cease to amaze me and I adore how they pull you in to their clique.
This storyline did pick up with the action and the ending, well the ending lets just say I need Leo's books now. I need to know how he is going to finish this slimeball.

His Claim has us back in the Banachi world filled with drama, mayhem and let’s not forget all the witty banter. Murphy and Tatum have history and when his world drags her from hers, it just might be the second chance they have both wanted. Tatum is an absolute nut and fits right in with the ol ladies from Devil’s Knights. There is plenty of excitement, chaos and chemistry to hold you captive. Tatum and Murphy will not only make you smile but the love that has held strong between them over the past five years apart will make you swoon. Secrets will be revealed and just when you think the mayhem will end, you are left holding your breath and on the edge of your seat and eager for the next book.

Murphy and Tatum broke up 5 years ago. Not because they weren't in love but because Murphy walked away. Sure, he did it to protect her from his dangerous occupation. Fear drove him to break her heart and neither of them have recovered Little good it did when Tatum ends up in a locked room with the love of her life, prisoners. Who would think that an enemy would facilitate a reunion with the one who got away? What I love about this author is the sheer relatability of her characters. They are just like anyone else, just trying to get through this thing called life. You can feel his regret and loneliness, her sadness and pain right from the start. Fortunately, Murphy isn't going to let Tatum go ever again! With a little cliffhanger the stage is set for the next book, can't wait!

On the edge of my seat! This installment picks up right where the last book left off with Murphy being kidnapped, and we find that his ex-girlfriend Tatum was kidnapped as well. The two of them work together to escape and find that it was way too easy, and it continues the mystery of who’s behind things and the reason why. I love that these two get to reconnect, finding out that they used to date, and they broke up because Murphy tried to keep his two lives apart, but that wouldn’t happen in this world. I can’t wait to see what happens next, especially since each book just continues to leave me with more questions and on the edge of my seat waiting for a final battle for the Banachis!

Tatum and Murphy dated about 5 years ago and he left her to keep her safe. She never got over that loss. She been working at bookstore and wakes up one more in a darken basement after being kidnapped and Murphy tied to a chair. These two now have to figure out how to get out of the predicament they are in and try to see if they can make a go of what they left behind.

"It's always been you, Murphy. You stole my heart and never gave it back to me. Not even when you broke it."

Great continuation of the Banachi series, but also great to see some crossover characters from the Devil's Knights.

Murphy and Tatum! I love how Winter did a love refresh book. This was a very refreshing read in that aspect. Walking away from each other 5 years ago because Murphy wasn't ready to make any concessions. Their love never died and neither did the crazy Meg! The biggest draw to me with Winter as an author, is in every book, you get a taste of characters from past books. You know they are still alive and keeping things as interesting as ever. Then to read about Tatum falling right into line with the ladies, well welcome to hot mess express speeding train! As usual, there is a cliffhanger at the end. I mean, it wouldn't be Winter Travers if there wasn't!

This was more of a short story.

We have Murphy and Tatum who were together 5 yrs ago and broke up. They’ve been living their lives separately and not they are together not by choice. Murphy still remembers everything Tatum likes and wants to make their time better this time around.
Tatum had left her old career and started a new one. She was able to fill Murphy in about her new life details.

Murphy and Tatum will be together longer since a threat is still out there against them. Tatum isn’t sure about what will come for them but likes that she’ll be with Murphy and he will be there to protect her.

So this is the second book in this series, and I loved that we got to see some of my very favorite people once again!!

Murphy is a complete jokester and loves to get his brothers all revved up and then sit back and watch what happens. Little did he know that he was going to be the one getting all revved up this time, and have his whole world rocked. How could he have know that his past was going to come back and blow everything he thought he knew he wanted out of the water??

The chemistry is off the charts scorching hot!! Great read for the second book, and it truly leads right into the next book. And yes, I totally kept thumping my kindle to try and get more words from it when it ended.

Can he give up a woman a 2nd x after it was hard 2 do the 1st x?

I liked it alot but I did have a few unanswered questions. But it was really good with the help of the MC. 5 yrs ago he gave her up 4 a reason but things unexpected happened that changed it. But was it 4 the worse or better u decide. It had sum good action in it but I'm a little confused about a few things. I hope there's a book about Leo and hopefully get more of a background feel 2 things. I can't wait 4 the next book 2 come out so I can c what happens like a conclusion type of this 1 since they found A very unexpected surprise at the end.

His Claim is another hit for Winter! This the second book in her Banachi series. Murphy is one of Leo's Goon"s. In his Claim, Murphy finally gets his HEA. Murphy and Tatum find themselves in a very crazy situation at the start of book. Murphy will find a way to win his love back. Tatum is his Claim. Travers gives us her fun humor, suspenseful middle and cliffhanger endings that we love. Along the journey Murphy and Tatum will get some help from a few Devil's, their awesome Old Ladies and a few others. Absolutely loved His Claim. Happy Reading

This is the second book in this amazing series, and this is Murphy and Tatum’s story.
These two were in love, but Murphy pushed Tatum away as he did not want her in the crossfire of his dangerous life. Now 5-years later and enemy throws Murphy and Tatum together again.
This is a well written easy to read action packed story, with danger, suspense, intrigue, emotions, heartbreak, second chances, romance, and love, which leads to an entertaining, unpredictable, and steamy addictive page turner.
I look forward to reading more from this talented author whose work I highly recommend.

His Claim is a second chance romance which is a favorite trope of mine! Murphy may have let Tatum go years ago but when danger brought them back together, I couldn’t wait for the fireworks! Every time he called her baby girl, I swooned and couldn’t keep the smile off my face! This couple has great banter and they’re both stubborn but so genuine! Read this book for the hair dye, margaritas, love and chaos alone! The twist at the end has me counting the days until the next book!

Murphy broke up with Tatum five years ago, his reason was to keep her safe. If she wasn't in his life, then she wasn't on anyone's radar. Somehow, she still ended up in the middle of things and lands right at Murphy's feet as he is tied to a chair. The second in the Banachi family series and it was non-stop action, filled with loads of laughs, hot naughty bits, and some nice drama! I loved that we still get to see some of our favorite characters. I give this 5 stars.

Banter, banter, banter! I love Tatum & Murphy & their banter!!

This was a fun installment of the Banachi family saga. I highly enjoyed seeing the guys & gals from our Devil's Knights, as well as the Banachis together. Good times & lots of LOL moments. Even when there's danger, there's fun. 😁

Murphy & Tatum's second chance was a great, genuine story, and as always, the teaser ending for the next book is 🥳!!!

Absolutely loved Tatum and Murphys story ! Ms Travers brought back beloved Banachi as well as Devils Knights characters to look for a common enemy . Tatum and Murphy , although having been apart for years , find themselves back together in the worst possible circumstances, but find their hearts are still owned by the other , and Murphy does everything in his power to keep her safe . Loved loved loved this story , and cannot wait for the next book !

Thank you so much for letting me read this book.
I have now read this book and I love the story about Tatum and Murphy.
They were a couple 6 years ago, but Murphy broke the relationship and now they found eachother again, but it was by chance that they found each other. I won't write much more about this book as I thought you should read it yourself and I'd say you won't be disappointed. I can and will recommend this book.

So good!! I am so loving this series and this one was able to keep me right on the edge of my seat from the start! Give me a great second chance and I'm hooked. Tatum and Murphy have a history but the way they are thrown back into each other's lives made my jaw drop. They have an amazing connection that never faded, and being a part of their wild reconnect is perfect! There are great surprises, amazing friends, and throw in some of our favorite Devil's Knights and it's a must!!

Hell yeah!!!!

I have literally inhaled this book!! I mean who wouldn’t?! This one kicks off where the last one finished and ooooooh! I am finding it hard not to five too much away!!!
However Murphy does factor heavy in this one, with Tatum. The one that got away and my heart!! Anywho Brandt still has it out for Leo and anyone associated with him. Will they be able to get to him before someone gets hurt?
And that ending?!!!!

I’ve got to be honest with you…..I really didn’t have too much hope for Murphy going into this book. I was WRONG Murphy is awesome! He thought he did the right thing by keeping Tatum at a distance years ago buuuut love FTW, right?! It was also great getting caught up with the Devil’s Knights. I’m always happy when I can get a “Meg fix”! The interactions between Murphy and the DK’s are so fun. Looking forward to more from this series.
