Sukie Reynolds is done with all things love and very little like, thanks to the last man who decided to mishandle her heart. She’d rolled her last pair of snake eyes and decided that no strings attached sex and random hookups would be the only love she’d ever acknowledge again. Only before Sukie has a chance to test the waters of her new lifestyle things take a sensually breathless turn. A turn that not only leaves her satisfied in ways she never imagined but hopeful that maybe one last shot at love is still within her grasp. Between wild interludes of intimacy and stolen moments of genuine happiness, Sukie finds herself wrapped in August’s arms and deep between his sheets with her heart exposed. Has Sukie finally found love, or is the high she’s on just another heartbreak waiting to happen…
Until the day Sukie walked into his life, August Akee didn’t view love as a life goal. While lust kept his needs met with a variety of women, there was something about his instant intoxicating attraction to Sukie, and thoughts of making her body his personal pleasure playground had become the only view to keep his attention. That and the fact that she didn’t hesitate to match his nasty. Though it doesn't take August long to realize that his desire to care for and protect Sukie’s heart becomes just as important to him as making her scream his name. Determined to quiet her fears, kiss away her insecurities, and expose her to the kind of love and happiness he's sure she deserves, August is ready to give her the world. But in a world, full of vengeance and petty jealousy that runs decades deep, is love really in the cards for either of them…
So BOOOMMMM, what if you find out that you have this fine neighbor because you see him step out onto his balcony naked & lay eyes on the best package you’ve ever seen!?. Then, you bump into this man you can’t stop thinking about at the grocery & it gets hectic 😉😂🤣😅! Now this was a STORY! Mixed with just the right amount of REAL NASTYYYYYY 👅, it has a plot! I can’t wait to see what this second part is talking about!!!
I was not a fan AT ALL. I wanted to finish book 2 in hopes it would all make sense in the end and it didn’t. Book 1 was basically girl meets boy, girl and boy fuck… then the last paragraph cliff hanger for no reason. The sex scenes were all repetitive to me and if simply saying he has a big dick and she has a wet pussy is erotica then I guess.
This gave me exactly what it needed to in the smut separation okay? I ate every smex scene up!
August and Suki’s sexual chemistry was everything! They had a connection before they were ever 5ft in front of each other. And when they did get close to each other, it was all bets off or should I say clothes? Cause they were flying off, immediately.
The only thing that had me annoyed was their lack of communication skills. They were driving me crazy. Like they were in their head the whole book, it never stopped. I feel like they were too old to be playing the games they did.
The cliffhanger had me like wtffff. Whoever was tryna play with my girl like that had me pissed.
This book could’ve been a lot better with simple editing. There were a ton of typos and minor grammatical errors. While the errors themselves were small the quantity of them was kind of frustrating (“fill” instead of “feel”). There were also some story inconsistencies (example: one scene a clothing item was removed and thrown, but then 2-3 pages later it was being removed again?). Id give the plot overall like a 3 or 3.5 because it was pretty simple, yet still entertaining. The writing though was like a 2 at best. There were a lot of similes and metaphors that made me chuckle, but I feel like there was a lot of needed description that was missing (the male characters features were clearly explained but the woman’s, not so much). This trend actually continued as the man’s outfits would be explained almost every encounter and there were quite a few times I felt the woman’s description was missing (not to say it’s never done). The cliffhanger at the end came out of nowhere so the suspense wasn’t really built up and the plot was slightly above remedial in terms of writing. I do think this author has great potential! It was refreshing to read an erotica with black characters without the tired as gangsta/thug love that I feel like I can’t escape when searching for black erotic romance. LASTLY, I think this book would’ve made more sense if the characters were in their 20s. There is some serious toxic behavior that I was rolling my eyes at, but when the book revealed they were both mid to late 30s it made me look at them sideways (not that people that age don’t behave in a toxic manner, i just don’t wanna read about them lol)
She has done it again! August my man my man my man! That man there will have you jumping out of bushes! And looking for him in the daylight with a flashlight do you hear me! That man oozes sex ok! And their chemistry! This book was salacious!
This wasn't bad but my heart wasn't in it. The sudden switch from August caught me off guard during his interaction with the landlord. That was a bit confusing.
I’m sorry but this was not good. The grammatical errors were unforgivable. Punctuations were either missing or misused. I’m convinced there was no editing at all. As for the story, there was no substance. There was not plot (I can’t even tell you what this story was about), and the characters were boring. All they did was have sex. There was no build up to romance or feelings, just constant sex that wasn’t even written out well. This was my first and last time reading this author’s work.
Hear me out! I know this is might seem a smidge different than my “typical” reads. But there was a lot of chatter about this book in an online book group I’m in. Also, I kinda love how unapologetic the cover/title is 😉 • Be mindful of the trigger warnings because if you’re not interested in quick love, nonsense and the abundant use of the words “squirting” and “p*ssy”, this is not the story for you! • But, if you’re curious how 2 young(?), black business owners become immediately attracted to each other, have sex frequently and are very clear (at least he/August is) on they’re intentions, you might want to read on. • Sukie and August are determined to just be in it for the sex, but when feelings get involved, is there any hope for a relationship? • As the author noted in the prologue, this book ends on a cliffhanger. I don’t think the next book has been written yet, so keep that in mind should you choose to pick this one up. I don’t know if I’ll read on, but I didn’t mind this book. It was a good palette cleanser. • 3 out of 5 stars/Recommend
I’m fairly new to erotic fiction so I’m still learning what I like and dislike about the genre. “Match My Nasty” by India T Norfleet is definitely a nasty and naughty ride.
Sukie is fed with her cheating ex BUT she’s also ready to get her freak on after having to handle matters herself for the last few months. Truth be told, she’s been admiring her neighbors beautiful body and from the looks she’s been sneaking it appears as if they’re both pretty nasty and need of some physical satisfaction.
When she finally meets her sexy neighbor August, at the grocery market sparks fly and it’s literally on. They soon embark on daily freaky sessions and in just a few days they’re considering exclusive commitment- August is not letting this good thing go. However, the man has secrets and she might have an enemy in plain view, and something or someone is making it their mission to break up this happy situation.
The book ends on a cliffhanger and I can’t wait to read the follow-up. *There were some grammatical errors that I noticed but I don’t think it took away from the actual story. Also, keep in mind that this is a Black Erotic Fiction so read with that in mind- the language and some of the acts are intense.*
Literally they be f****** this whole book is nothing but August and sukie f******. Like the title is perfect for this because they nasty they are nasty freaks and I was here for every moment of it. August will come back and retort to Suki, Hey could speak to me that way any day if he is putting it on me with BDE any day anytime he could say whatever he wants he can claim me you can claim my whole spirit. Sukie was kind of getting on my nerves because I get your heartbeat broke by my girl you're not you're not posting up red flags that he has so Light get with the program because if you don't want them I'll take him... That ending was real out of the blue the fact that August clocked old girl... Let me just go ahead and jump into the next book because I'm intrigued.
Did August and Sukie get on anyone else’s nerves like they got on mine. The sexual connection is there but other than that I didn’t read any other connection. Yes this book is erotic and if you aren’t interested in reading it then this ain’t for you but I LOVED it! August and Sukie had me fanning myself throughout the whole book. They both like each other but both trying to avoid getting hurt but continuing to sex each other down both behinds are stubborn and it’s like please come on 😒🙄🤯. I am like y’all are bad at communication this isn’t going to be a good thing 🤣🤦🏾♀️🤣. I don’t like the ending because I am confused, I have an ideal who is behind this but I guess we find out once book 2 comes out.
The smut was doing what it’s supposed to. But the back and forth on the emotions both characters and then mostly just Sukie was doing was annoying. A story doesn’t have to be liner characters can have doubts and starts and stops in relationships. But a personal pet peeve that of mine is when a character says or things one thing and then in the very next sentence/paragraph does, says, or thinks something completely contradictory. I get that it’s supposed to read as mental and emotional conflict but it has to be written better. And no way this should be two books but August’s dirty talk was good enough to keep me on the hook.
Let’s just be real… this book could’ve easily been titled “They Nasty” because August and Sukie did NOT come to play! 😂🔥
What do you do when the man you were trying to build with shows his true colors one more time? You tell him it’s done, dust your hands off, and mind your business… which just so happens to include spying on your fine neighbor again.
But then..THEN ..you run into him at the grocery store and he straight-up calls you out like, “Yeah, I know you be looking.” Baybeeeee, I screamed.
August was fine, arrogant, smooth with it, and could back up every bit of the mess he talked. And Sukie? Oh, she wanted that man BAD, even though she was over there trying to act like she wasn’t pressed. That pool scene? Oh, that told us EVERYTHING we needed to know.
I keep telling y’all I do not read books I don’t like, and I tore this one UP. India T. Norfleet does not miss when it comes to energy, spice, and straight-up grown-folk foolishness.
And after that ending in Book 1? Yeah… I’m sprinting to Book 2 because I need ALL the tea, immediately! 🥵📚🔥
Sukie is OVER the whole “love” thing — sis just wants to live her best grown-woman life and have a good time 😜✨. What she didn’t expect was that her late-night neighbor-watching hobby would turn into a front-row seat to her own romance. 👀 One random supermarket run… one fine neighbor… and suddenly that “just for fun” energy turns into something dangerously sexy. Match My Nasty did not come to play — it came to match vibes, raise heart rates, and remind you why India T. Norfleet stays THAT GIRL in romance 🔥📚 If you love bold women, bold chemistry, and bold storytelling… yeah, you’re gonna want to add this one to your TBR immediately. 😏💋🔥
Ma’am? Ma’am!! I’m going to need you to step to the front of the room Ms. Norfleet, and explain yourself! How dare you end ‘Match My Nasty’ with a cliffhanger.
This read…well, she was good. Suk, a character that has met her share of disappointing relationships. I totally get her turn off to relationships, but here comes August. August? Yes, August is that neighbor she sees through her window, every night. Big. Strong. A vibe. They meet and it’s electric.
Now I will admit, it pissed me off when the author went to scenes surrounding Suk and her jewelry business. I did not come for that! Get to the good part.
Miss India that cliffhanger tearsss !! READ IT August was giving BDE with a hint of funny sexual banter . The chemistry between Sukie and August was just sparks and even though desires were met one of them gives some push back. I honestly could’ve been happy if this had been a standalone but I’m excited for part two 😁.
This author remains consistent in giving the readers the right dose of nasty. August and Suki's chemistry from the onset was explosive and I enjoyed every bit of it. I am curious about who is behind the action at the cliffhanger. Looking forward to part 2 and hopefully we can get more of August and Suki's chemistry!
Oooo love the energy this boom is giving. I find the chemistry between the characters interesting. Excited to see how the plot continues to unfold and how the foundation of the relationship gets stronger. The Spice is perfect for me! Please don’t make me wait long for the rest!
I ain’t neva read a book that had me so hot and bothered before but shit I’m gone need me a August because that nik ka had it going on. I love him and pretty ass Sukie together I can’t wait for the finale because I know it’s gone be lit 🔥 excellent read❤️
Indescribably the best read I have had in a long time!
A page turner is not even the tip of the iceberg when telling someone about this book. Each time I read a book by India I feel like they aren’t long enough, although I know why. She has a gift that pulls you in each time. This book was no different and I am a sucker for love stories. Also, adding a little nasty to it ain’t never hurt nobody either. Both main characters bounce off of each other in a good feel type of way. All I can say is please read!
The amount of run on sentences in this story is egregious. I unfortunately had to DNF around 64%. I didn’t care for the dialect and for me the dialogue was cringe. The “spice” left much to be desired. The common phrase for this story is to END THE SENTENCE!!!! Stop using commas as periods.
I know good and dawg fine well you didn’t leave me having like that 😩 my feeling hurts until I get the rest of this book! It had me so invested from the first sentence!!!!
Whew! Sukie and August were nice and nasty! These two have sworn off love , or have they? India continues to give us well written erotica and black romance time and time again. Match my Nasty is mixed with some intrigue that has me ready for book 2!!
August and his mouth!!! That man will have me marrying him after one night. Suki better claim that man ASAP. It is rare to find a sexy man that talks s$&: and can back it up. Can’t wait for part two.
I bet that’s nobody but August’s crazy link at his job that was salty he cut her off. He’s going to get her together though I’m sure. Can5 wait to read the ending to this.
I cannot wait for the continuous. I have read several of India books I must confirm enjoy every one of them. This one both are ready to love and the other one if scared doubtful but will give it a try. Just trying to protect her heart
Oh, I know the hell you didn’t! Oh my God, the drama! The suspense! What is going on? This book was SO good and was spicier than a jalapeño!!! I loved Sukie’s personality and crazy ass August. Can’t wait to see what happens next.
Oh my goodness who is after Sukie, this is crazy could it be her crazy ex or is it Cynthia..... Who ever it is gone have to deal with August, this book has been hott as Hell since I started reading it so I have to get the next one so I can see who is driving that car
