A graphic nonfiction volume that introduces the properties of light. Features include several photographic pages, a glossary, additional resource list, and an index.
Attention, moms! These books are so awesome. They're a whole series about physical science, and they make more sense to me than all of the science classes I had growing up. They're right at Ethan's reading level, but I think older kids would find them interesting too. There are cute, colorful pictures, and great explanations. I just read this one with Ethan, and had to get on here to let you all know how cool they are!
-engaging way to learn all about light -all the words are in bubble speches, like a comic book -introduces and explains new vocabulary related to light -very colorful
My son and I read this together as he is preparing a project of the science of lightsabers. The text is easy to understand and clearly presented. The graphic novel format was familiar and appealing to my second grader.
