Short but impactful. Such a sad ending, even if you know it's what needed to happen.

This was a short story where a man kills his infected wife to stop her becoming a zombie and botches his own suicide to wake up as a sort of half zombie who doesn't want to hurt anyone. I can't really say much because it is short but it was a decent quick read for zombie fans.
