Confession: There was that moment where I didn’t know if I wanted to read this book.
Not because I wasn’t curious as to what else was in store for Jaymerson and Hunter, because I so was, but I didn’t know if I could deal with the emotional turmoil I KNEW was coming because, let’s be real, when it’s a Duet you KNOW more things will happen.
And good lord did things happen.
The angst happened. The growling happened. The heavy sighs happened.
And yet…
And yet I couldn’t put the book down. I can’t even say that I #multitasked because that is just being way to generous. I kept turning the pages to see what could possibly happen next and basically devoured this baby in, oh a couple of hours?? But it was all worth it. The angst, the feels. Everything to get to that ending.
I adored Jaymerson in this one. Seeing her grow and truly start to see her own value was an amazing thing. She is still a girl who cares deeply and is someone who likes to please people, but she also sticks up for herself more and gives as good as she gets. She still has some very teenage moments and trips up at times, but I loved watching her learn from it all and come out stronger in the end.
Then there is Hunter. I honestly adored Hunter in Shattered Love after getting to see beneath all the armor and in this one, he still has an extremely generous heart and is willing to go the distance for those he calls his own...but. Unfortunately there is a “But” here because Hunter tried my patience in this one with his position on some things and how he couldn’t see beyond his nose. Thankfully, things work out and I still adored him in the end.
As for their journey to their HEA. OMG these two. The push/pull is real. The angst is real. But, regardless of how much my eyes ended up hurting from all the rolling, it was something they both needed to go through. Hunter and Jayme’s connection was intense, and regardless of the hell they had already been through, were still young and needed to grow into their own skins before they could even attempt to be together. It was painful at times, but so worth it in the end.
Broken Love totally sucked me in. I mean to the point where I had to force myself to attempt to #multitask aka Work because I just couldn’t stop reading. The need to know what was going to happen next was oh so strong. And as for the supporting cast of characters...I loved Dougie, Grandma Penny and Jones, but hanging out with Stevie was everything and I cannot wait to get my hands on her story!

Oh my goodness - I just finished this book and I couldn't get enough of this story. The first book had shattered my heart. This book did not disappoint. It shattered my heart even more, if possible.
We pick up a couple months after the last book left off. Without giving away too much away - this book was full of so much raw angst. But I loved every minute of it. The writing was fabulous, kept me captivated, and made me fall in love. UGH. I'm sad that this story is over but it was so satisfying. I said it about the last book - the characters are so young but you don't feel like it. They are so mature for their age.
I just can't say enough about this series. It was absolutely fabulous! So much raw emotional angst.

Second book in the Blinded Love series. Virginity/ love triangle/ second chance trope. Such relatable hard life issues riddled through this one. Heart hurting vibes for all the emotional damage girlies.

I don’t even know where to begin as this book sucked me right in, wrung me out, and put me into a book hanger. This book is raw, gritty, entertaining, and an emotional rollercoaster full of love, heartache, tragedy, and hope. Broken Love is book 2 in this author’s The Blinded Love series and you will need to read Shattered Love first.
This book picks up at the very end of Jaymerson’s senior year in high school and does span a couple of years which I think was very fitting for the storyline. I don’t always like to read books where I cry and feel like my heart is getting ripped out, but the author crafts such a beautiful story about two people who have such an intense love for each other that they are magnets with a gravitational pull towards each other. They survived tragedy in book 1 and still their path towards their HEA is a long, winding road. Seriously, just read the book. It is amazing.
Told entirely from Jayme’s POV, you go through the gamete of emotions. She is still that strong, likable heroine who has been through so much, yet continues to persevere. I love how the author made you really feel all of her emotions. Hunter is a survivor, but he has that vulnerability that isn’t always obvious and he seems to carry an awful lot of weight on his shoulders and it just keeps getting heavier and heavier. There were times that I wanted to shake him, but I couldn’t help but love him. My heart broke multiple times for these two.
I really enjoyed how many of the secondary characters from Shattered Love are also in this book - especially with Stevie, Chris, and Doug playing a more prominent role as they are the type of people that I would love to be friends with and have in my corner. I love how the author further developed these characters and I am really looking forward to Stevie’s book as she is one of the most interesting characters that I have ever encountered. This book does not end in a cliffhanger and it does have a HEA. Overall, I really enjoyed this book. It moved at a good pace, had some great twists and turns, and the author skillfully puts you through all the feels. I received this book as an ARC and I voluntarily leave this review.

Such a profound and heart-wrenching tale of maddeningly deep emotions. Jayme and Hunter love more passionately and hate more fiercely because they do so with their whole being. Both of them want nothing more than to fulfill their dreams and hold onto each other with everything they have. But Jayme doesn't feel like she can compete with his dreams and often is placed last, and Hunter feels like Fate has it in for them. Ripped apart yet again, Jayme finds herself in Italy and Hunter on the rise to fame on the Supercross circuit. One year apart has not lessened the deep, unending, soul-fracturing love they feel for each other and when they finally lay eyes on each other again, the effects ripple like through-out the town. I loved this book and I'm certain you will too. I hope to see these characters again in the future. 5 stars and 2 thumbs up!! Broken Love is a brilliantly written story that will capture your emotions and steal your heart.

This series has obliterated me for a second time. Rereading this series has only solidified my undying love for this story, these characters, and this author!
The amount of emotion that is packed into this series is almost overwhelming. This is the kind of book series that changes you. You will never be the same after reading it. This story left a mark on my soul. When I first reviewed this book I said that "when I went into this series I had no idea that these books would come to mean so much to me. This book series has pulled out my heart, shattered it, taped it back together, broken it some more, and healed again the way that only a climactic and emotional story can." This still rings true. Maybe even more so after reading it a second time.
Stacey Marie Brown has character creation and development down to an art. She is seriously talented when it comes to creating characters with depth, chemistry, and tremendous growth. She writes the kind of characters that will continue to mean something to you long after you finish reading the story. I can't express the depth of my love for the characters in this series.
Brown plotted out this series like a boss. Seriously. Everything that happens has so much meaning behind it. The series of events and the situations in this series are compound and not only provide for incredible character growth but for reader growth as well. There are so many things packed into this series. There is loss, pain, anger, love, tragedy, friendship, and so much more. The reader grows in their heart just from experiencing these things along with the characters.
Overall, I am still a sobbing mess on the floor for this series. This reread is taking place three months after reading it the first time. I am a complete fool for these characters and I don't think that I will ever be rid of my need to read these books. I feel like an addict, but I wouldn't have it any other way. A great book series will keep readers coming back to it and this series accomplishes that effortlessly. I am thrilled that the third book is releasing this month and I can't wait to dive into it with refractory abandon.

Wow, when I went into this series I had no idea that these books would come to mean so much to me. This book far surpassed the first book, which is saying a lot since it was pretty epic. This book series has pulled out my heart, shattered it, taped it back together, broken it some more, and healed again the way that only a climactic and emotional story can. Contemporary books are usually hit or miss with me. I generally don't care for them but once in a while, I will read one like this series that will blow me away. I am very impressed with this series.
The plot of this book and this series so far as a whole really blew me away. There is so much drama and so much heartache wrapped inside this series. One of the things that I love best about Brown's books is the incredible plots. She is always creative and clever with the construction of her stories. There will always be plot twists that you will never see coming and wonderful foreshadowing. I get so giddy inside just thinking about reading one of her books because I know that I will be glued to the pages.
The other thing that I feel is synonymous with Brown's books is her complex character building. The characters in her books are always, always special. They have depth and incredible character growth. This book is no different. I felt so connected to these characters. Like I was living this story with them and through them. I felt everything they felt and experienced everything with them. These characters feel very personal. The character growth in this book, in particular, is astounding when compared to where these characters were in the first book. The chemistry between these characters is so electric and brilliant. When you stop reading you will not want to let these characters go. I still can't stop thinking about them.
The world-building was changed up a bit in this book because the main character lives in Italy for a few years. Even though this is a contemporary, Brown does an excellent job of putting the reader in the character's environments. You will get the small town vibe when the characters are in their hometown, you will feel the magic of Italy when the main character is living there, and you will feel all of the little things in between.
The romance in this book and this series is absolutely amazing. I mean, there are hardly words to describe it and any that I come up with will pale in comparison to the reality. The romance in this book will make you believe in true love. With all of the drama and obstacles that the main characters have to face and conquer so that they can be together is just plain inspiring. There is so much pain and suffering, but there is also joy and a sense of completeness. My heart was definitely rocked by this love story.
Overall, this is another fantastic book by Stacey Marie Brown! She never ceased to amaze me with her compelling plots, vibrant characters, and beautiful storytelling. This is a story that will definitely sit on my heart for a long while. This is the kind of story that you will reread for the feels. To experience them again. If you want a shocking and beautiful love story then you'll want to pick up this series. I recommend all of Brown's books. Her storytelling is among my favorites.

Pierwszy tom tej serii na zawsze będzie miał specjalne miejsce w moim serduszku. Czy druga część była równie dobra? Zacznę od tego, że pierwsza połowa książki totalnie zniszczyła mnie psychicznie. Czytanie tej części historii sprawiało mi fizyczny ból, co tylko świadczy o tym, jak bardzo zaangażowana byłam w relację Jaymerson i Huntera. Muszę przyznać, że dawno aż tak nie przeżywałam żadnej książki, więc nie będzie to pewnie zaskoczeniem, jak powiem, że pierwsza połowa powieści, była według mnie naprawdę dobra. Niestety druga część książki moim zdaniem jest po prostu niedopracowana. Pod koniec powieści zaczął denerwować mnie fakt, że bohaterowie nie potrafili się dogadać jak dorośli ludzie, przez co ciągle wracali do punktu wyjścia. Mało tego, niby chcieli być razem, jednak żadne z nich nie było gotowe na żadne ustępstwa, a każdy patrzył jedynie na własną wygodę. Tak nie wygląda związek dorosłych ludzi :( Mimo wszystko ze względu na to, jak bardzo byłam zaangażowana emocjonalnie w historię tej dwójki, moja ocena to 4/5⭐️. Muszę przyznać, że po fenomenalnej pierwszej części liczyłam na powtórkę z emocji i kolejną mocną 5, dlatego też nie ukrywam, że jestem ociupinkę zawiedzioną. Mimo wszystko nie można powiedzieć, że książka nie jest wciągająca, bo jest i to jak, dlatego też z czystym sumieniem, mogę ją polecić.

Cieszę się, że już skończyłam, ale książka była trochę stratą czasu.
Początek - tragedia. Specjalnie jeden kolor karteczek do adnotacji podpisałam jako "cringe". SMUTne sceny napisane w tak straszny sposób, że omijałam opisy i czytałam tylko dialogi, na wypadek, gdyby padło w nich coś ważnego (nie padło).
Im dalej tym lepiej, ale chyba wystarczy mi na razie romansów, w których bohaterowie zapominają, że można że sobą porozmawiać i tak rozwiązać jakiś problem. Moje ciśnienie po skończeniu tej książki jest zdecydowanie wyższe, niż być powinno.
Zakończenie do przewidzenia. Muszę przyznać, że autorka dobrze zakończyła te wielkie dramaty bohaterów.
Osobiście nie uważam, żeby pozycja była jakoś bardzo godna uwagi, jednak na "odmóżdżenie" idealna.

Well Stacey has done it again, she made me go out and buy wine and tissues whilst reading this beautifully emotional story.
I thought Jaymerson and Hunter had been through so much in the first book Shattered Love but it just continues in this one. SMB envoked all the emotions in me with her flawless writing, anger, pain, love, and happiness.
It was lovely to watch Jaymerson grow in this book. She. is finally starting to see her own worth and even though she is still trying to please others she does actually stick up for herself now. With Hunter you finally get to see the real him behind the façade he puts up.
Can't wait to see what Stacey is going to bring us next with Twisted Love

Absolutely amazing conclusion to Hunter and Jaymerson's story. It was a ride, oh was it is a ride. I was angry, upset, disgusted and the author turned all things around and I was one happy camper by the end. Just wowed by this book and the two books. One of my favorite reads so far this year. The heart ache, struggle, love and passion that was put into Shattered and Broken love. All the puzzle pieces finally fit. Excellant read!

Wow, this book -- no, this series was just phenomenal. I actually had a sleepless night reading this book. I found myself immersed with the story and the characters and just couldn't find myself putting it down for a second.
I absolutely loved and adored this series.
I have become a huge fan of YA/NA recently and just can't seem to find the time to put my kindle down when I'm reading this genre.
This is the continuation of Jaymerson and Hunter's story. And boy do we get lots of ups and downs in this book. So much heartache and pain for these two individuals that seem to find happiness just to have it taken away from them again. Will they ever reach the point of true happiness together or were they destined to just love each other from afar?
I loved Jaymerson because despite all the hate that she was inflicted upon at school, she was tough as nails and knew how to block that out and the hateful and spiteful words that were always thrown at her. For as much as she's gone through, she sure has thick skin to be able to tolerate it and continue on with her daily routine, blocking out the horrible words thrown at her on the daily.
Hunter, he's as loveable as can be. He loved Jaymerson fiercely even when she didn't belong to him But once Jaymerson finally became his, he tried to keep her but Jaymerson had other aspirations and she was done being the doting girlfriend who followed her boyfriend everywhere. Now that she's graduated from high school, she's going to focus on herself and do what she wants to do, even if it that means losing the love of her life.
They have obstacles always hurtling their way and always getting in the way of their happiness. But they always look around it and find a way to finally, FINALLY make their dreams come true, with such sacrifices -- but sacrifices that were worth it!
This series has been such a great read.
The Blinded Love Series is at the top of my favorites for 2018!

Wow, just wow!
This story was a total rollercoaster. Tears flowed, anxiety clawed at me, happiness made me soar high. It shows life, the tumbles it can take and the way someone can fight through those barriers. Sadness, hope, happiness, anger, exasperarion and everything in between.
Amazing ending to Hunter and Jayme's story. Could not have asked for more. It's refreshing to see characters written with such passion, knowledge, and intense emotion. Thumbs WAY up. (Wish I had more than 2)

I still think there need to be official Stacey Marie Brown tissue packs that come with each book. This was an intense emotional story. If you've ever been in those shoes of debating between what others expect of you and chasing your dreams, it's really going to hit. Jaymerson and Hunter went through so much in book 1 and it just continues; life isn't easy but they push on and I rooted for them throughout all the pain and suffering that I felt in my heart as much as they did. I read the whole thing on one plane ride because I was so invested. And I can't wait for book 3! A gorgeous if torturous NA contemporary romance with aspects of growing up/finding oneself.

Prvních pár stran se trochu táhlo, ale jakmile se Jaymerson dostala do Itálie, kniha nabrala ten správný směr a emoce se mnou začaly cloumat.
Co se týče hlavních postav, má Zlomená láska vše – vývoj jednotlivých hrdinů (obzvláště Jay se od nehody neskutečně posunula, začala myslet na sebe a má můj obdiv), neviditelné pouto, které je k sobě přitahuje jak magnety, úžasnou chemii, díky níž tahle dvojice prostě funguje.
Zlomená láska otevírá mnoho vážných témat a název knihy zcela odpovídá tomu obsahu. Já si i druhý díl série strašně moc užila a doufám, že brzy vyjde další kniha od Stacey Marie Brown. Sedí mi její styl vyprávění a doporučuji ho všem.

Niektóre momenty musiałam przeskoczyć bo tak jak mówiłam książka jest plątaniną zbędnych i wymuszonych problemów, dlaczego nie mogą być razem, na dodatek mogłabym zrobić listę wszystkich wątków, których nienawidzę i akurat one się tu znalazły

Shattered Love was a great book, however Broken Love will break you.
I have a book hangover. It takes a lot for me to get like this but it has happened. I am hungover in such a good way.
My emotions were literally in a tug of war while reading this book. I didn't know if things would ever get better for Jaymerson and Hunter I really didn't. Without giving anything away...if you read Shattered Love don't even hesitate go read Broken Love.
If you never read Shattered Love do yourself a favor and go get it!!!

I just adored Shattered Love and was so excited to dive back into Jaymerson and Hunter's world! While I did enjoy the book overall (go ahead with your bad self Jaymerson) there were some things that didn't work for me.
What I loved:
I didn't think I could love Jaymerson anymore then I did in the first book, but I was wrong. I loved how she refused to let go her dreams and wants just to make others happy. No matter her love for her family or Hunter, she refused to conform to their wants or selfish desires. She spent so many years trapped in a life she hated, that she refused to lose herself again and it was inspiring to see.
I appreciated that the author showed that life can go on for Jaymerson even when she lost the person she loved most. It wasn't an easy road, but day by day Jaymerson started to live for herself. And what we saw was a women change and become more comfortable in her own skin. Jaymerson became more aware of what made her tick and what she really wanted out life. Even when she returned home she didn't fall into old habits but stayed true to herself.
What I didn't like:
Honesty Hunter bugged the heck out of me. While he did sorta redeem himself at the end, I thought he was a huge selfish jerk in this book and often found myself wishing Jaymerson would have ended up with a different guy. I often found myself yelling at him because he continued to play the victim throughout the story. While Jaymerson matured and changed, Hunter stayed exactly the same and continued to make the same bad choices over and over again. If it wasn't for Jaymerson constantly challenging him he would still be stuck in his dead-end life.
I also felt the angst was just too overtop for me in this book. I'm not a huge fan of angsty romances and while shatter love had the right amount of tension and angst I felt in this book it was too much.

La trama lo spoilera, così anch'io posso dire che questo romanzo è un second chance romance. Mi piace questo genere, perché mi devasta il cuore? Assolutamente si.
Però devo ammettere che mi piacciono di più quando iniziano dai due provare a riprendere in mano la relazione e non tutto l'intermezzo, come in questo caso.
La coppia continua a piacermi, la trama è diventata peggio di Beautiful (cosa che ho adorato), avrei preferito vederli un pelino di più insieme, ma per me la dilogia è promossa. Anche se Stacey potevi andarci giù un pelino più leggera con Hunter!

Omg this book was so amazing! Just like the first book it takes you through a roller coaster ride of emotions (so make sure to have a box of tissues with you because you WILL need them). Jamerson and Hunter have both went through so much and to see how in the end they realize that the can’t live without the other absolutely warmed my heart. I’m so glad they finally got there happy ending!! Now I need to know more about Stevie and Chris!!!!!

This was my first series I read by this Author. When I read the previews I was so excited to read these books! The first book Shattered Love sucked me in right away and I loved Jaymerson’s feistiness and how she wouldn’t hold back on what she thought of Hunter. Loved how she wanted to change her life and become a stronger person.. I loved the tug-of-war between Jaymerson and Hunter, but somewhere near the end Jaymerson lost her back bone and I was like WTH???? But said...ok whatever they got there HEA.. so I was a little confused and didn’t understand why the author felt she needed to continue a 2nd book, but I got excited anyway and was hoping in Broken Love that we would see Jaymerson blossom into this confident girl that takes no shit from anyone... like the author was going for......ummm nope!!! That wasn’t the case.. Jaymerson was even worse! She was this pathetic, doormat, insecure, let everyone walk over her person!!
So here I am thinking to myself how in the world does this author think her Heroine is this stubborn, strong, and confident woman? I never felt that in either books about Jaymerson, what I did see was a girl that was pining and chasing after a guy that could care less if he was with her or not! Not only, was
Jaymerson more of a doormat in book 2 but Hunter was just down right unemotional and mean at times!
Telling Jaymerson more then once to leave or walk away, wouldn't return her text or calls, he didn’t call her while they were separated for two months (but talk to Krista) or even try and find out how she was doing when she was in Italy for a year, (but as soon as she see him she acts like a complete drooling idiot over him like he did nothing wrong) Says shit to her that he doesn’t even do himself like saying and I quote “ we need to fight for us”..........but never did.....doesn’t that go both ways? Seriously? Because Hunter never fought one time in either books for Jaymerson... Luca fought more for her in a week then Hunter did in 2 years!
So basically we this book was listening to Jaymerson pining over what could have been, why it was the best for both of them, make excuses for Hunter’s behavior and hear how pathetic she would act after Hunter would do or say something mean... If it wasn’t for Jaymerson chasing after Hunter so many times, I seriously think that Hunter would have ended up with Krista. Hunter stuck by Krista more than he did Jaymerson throughout both books. Which was a joke.. Not once did Hunter ever put Krista in her place, (especially when she didn’t tell Hunter that Jaymerson called when he was in his accident) but had no problem lashing out at Jaymerson on many occasions..like when Jaymerson finally says something to Krista, Hunter gets mad?? WTF! REALLY??
I could not stand that Jaymerson would always feel guilty for the way she felt or be ok with the reasons Hunter gave why he was involved with Colton’s son. I think anyone in their right mind would have thought the same thing. It was like the author was afraid of what her readers would think if Jaymerson really voiced her opinion on the matter. Like asking Hunter to make a choice. I would have not judged her because overall Hunter was not the father it wasn't his responsibility! So instead the author just made it OK for what Krista was doing.. because Colton didn’t!
There were so many No! No! in these books, that I found myself rolling my eyes...more so in the 2nd book!
One being Hunter never sticking up for Jaymerson when she was being bully from everyone in the small town..I could go on and on... but then I’ll be here all day..
There were so many incidence that I was frustrated with and situations that weren't handled. That I found myself so disappointed and bummed out because I really did enjoy the storyline and I really would have liked for Hunter and Jaymerson chemistry to stay off the chart like it did in the first book in the beginning.. but somewhere got lost throughout the series. 😔
It just seem like every chapter was Jaymerson chasing after Hunter and him telling her the same thing and him always walking away. The only time Hunter ever expressed his feelings was when they were having sex or her having to tell him how she felt first..... Maybe if we were given Hunter’s POV or got back the feisty girl that was in the beginning of the first book that I would have felt differently about each situation.
What I would’ve liked to seen in book 2 was...
Jaymerson grow a back bone, stick up for herself, call Hunter out on his bullshit, stop acting like a hot mess every time he was around her, stop trying to be a people pleaser and tell people exactly what you’re feeling and what you want.
As for Hunter I would have loved to see Hunter chasing after Jaymerson, Be more open and show his feeling not only when Jaymerson I had to say them first.. maybe show Hunter get jealous that guys were hanging on her too!
On a positive note...the one thing that I liked that the author did in her books, that nowadays authors do not do, is when Jaymerson and Hunter were apart both we’re not celibate, because everyone knows that isn’t gonna happen! But why did the author feel she had to have Hunter have sex with the one person that Jaymerson was not comfortable throughout both books....To me that showed Hunter being selfish! That he crossed a line knowing how Jaymerson felt about her only because he wanted to hurt her.
Jaymerson was too forgiving and was always apologizing for her actions. Never calling Hunter out on any of his actions nor did he ever apologize for anything he did. This only made Jaymerson even more of a doormat then she was and Hunter an asshole!
Anyway, Overall I did end up giving Shattered Love a 5 start rating, just because I truly did love the story and the chemistry between the H/h up until that changed towards the end. Broken Love book I could not rate as high giving it a 3 overall, due to the fact that I was so annoyed with Jaymerson behavior and how I never got the feeling or Comfort that Jaymerson was Hunter’s first choice. That being said.. I will have say Eva Kaminsky did a absolutely great job narrating both books and it was a joy listening to her!
I’m looking forward to reading Chris and Stevie‘s book and I hope that the author stays true to her personality!

Tę historię uwielbiam. A właściwie jest to kontynuacjach The Boy she hates (Shattered love). Przeklinałam na czym świat stoi, płakałam nad tym, jak drogi bohaterów się rozmijają. I jak wielkim idiotyzmem się czasem popisywali. Jednocześnie kibicowałam każdemu, trochę osobno, trochę razem. Bo to historia nie o miłości jako takiej, ale o odnalezieniu siebie, byciu szczęśliwym ze sobą i do tego dochodzi piękne uczucie, pod bardzo skomplikowaną postacią.
Nie raz chciałam rozerwać Huntera na strzępy, czy zdzielić JayJay przez łeb, bo ich zachowanie było tak irytująco absurdalne, i wszystkiego można byłoby uniknąć sięgając po prostu po słowa. Ale pamietam jak to jest mieć 18-20 lat, i wiem, że sama byłam typem, który zamiast rozmawiać krzyczał światu i ludziom, że mają się pieprzyć. Więc rozumiem i akceptuję.

The way that my stomach hurt for the ENTIRE book! I can not get over how much I LOVE Stacey's writing. She gets me hooked from the first sentence and basically keeps me in a chokehold the entire time.

The way that my stomach hurt for the ENTIRE book! I can not get over how much I LOVE Stacey's writing. She gets me hooked from the first sentence and basically keeps me in a chokehold the entire time.

Have you ever read a book where you held off from reviewing it because you knew that would mean it was actually over? That's what this book was for me. It was such an intense ride from book 1, Shattered Love, to now with Broken Love. With both books I carved time out but it wasn't enough. I didn't prepare for the emotional turmoil I would be going through. And that's precisely what I look for in a contemporary romance. I want to feel it long after the pages stop turning. I want a book that makes me feel everything the characters are going through and removes me completely from the life I'm in. Broken Love did not disappoint in that department.
Jayme and Hunter were just as electric as before, but we got to see Jayme come alive in a way I hoped she could, but didn't know if she would. She grew to be her own person. Making decisions based on her desires and the person she grew to become, like a phoenix rising from the ashes of her car wreck with Colton. I was amazing to watch her not bend to Hunter's desires, her parents, or even her best friend Stevie. She lived her life and made her decisions based on what was best for HER, and I loved every moment of it.
Hunter on the other hand felt like he regressed some, but it's hardly enough to hold it against him when you see all the things stacked against him. But Hunter is the type of guy I love, he feels deeply and is super tender, but hides it underneath a layer of "not caring" or just being driven to do the right thing. You get him at face value and don't have to wonder if he's conniving or has ulterior motives lurking somewhere to hurt you. Hunter is just Hunter, and that's more than enough for me.
I loved watching the push and pull, how no matter what life threw at these two, they truly were destined to always find their way back to one another. It's beautiful, and I'm sad this ride is over. I'm excited for Stevie, but I'm afraid no one could ever touch Jayme and Hunter for me.

W popkulturze istnieje taki termin jak "kobieta w lodówce". Określa się nim bohaterki, które umarły tylko po to, żeby ich śmierć zmotywowała do czegoś głównego bohatera i popchnęła do przodu fabułę. Czy istnieje nazwa na faceta, który pojawia się tylko po to, żeby wzbudzić w głównym bohaterze zazdrość i uświadomić głównej bohaterce, że kocha jedynie głównego bohatera? Bo takie postacie zadziwiająco często pojawiają się w gównianych romansach, a w tym tę rolę przejął Luke, totalnie sterotypowy Włoch, którego jedyną cechą charakteru była miłość do Jaymerson.

A potem nagle, totalnie z dupy, przeszedł niezwykłą przemianię, amazing.
