“I love you’s,” “Happy Birthday’s,” and Ferris Wheel rides, it always amazes me how this series has never once failed in romanticizing the simple things and making the mundane magical. There are millions of ways that people express their feelings; some show their loving adoration through extravagant date plans and gorgeous presents, and others go the extra mile by diving headfirst in their boyfriend’s niche, slightly obsessive, hyperfixation on gay manga. Sasaki and Miyano? They’ve got a typical thing. In each other's company, they've created a love language that blossoms because they’ve found that special person they can be unabashedly weird around.

This series is too cute for words! I love how Sasaki covers his face when he gets overwhelmed by how adorable Miyano is and how hard Miyano tries to make Sasaki feel special and cared for. I love how meta Miyano's BL obsession is and how he tries to avoid BL-like scenarios for himself while openly hoping that Hirano and Kaguira are in one.🤣 And of course I love all of the sweet hugs, sneaky kisses and subtle touches. I also can't help but laugh every time the blond fangirl in the background geeks out over Sasaki and Miyano making all of her BL fantasies come to life, because same, girl, same.

I touch him, and touch him—but it’s never enough. I want to treasure him and mess him up at the same time…

…I wanna touch him forever.

today i initially had the intentions to continue my streak of reading novels with some dark and heavy material, but then!! i had the sasaki and miyano anime pulled up on my family tv, and after seeing the cute visuals, i just couldn’t resist…. :’)

which was just about the greatest impulse decision i’ve made this week!!

i just love sasaki & miyano’s relationship so much. i love how in awe sasaki is in his feelings for miyano; i love seeing miyano’s character development with each volume (him taking the initiative to take sasaki out for a date and treat him for the entire night!! absolutely adorable!!); i love how even when half of the ensemble cast now attend different schools, the author still finds a seamless way to draw them altogether for some more endearing scenes.

one of my favorite parts of this volume was seeing that while sasaki & miyano were out on their date at an amusement park, miyano’s friends were spying on them from afar. and just to see just how publicly affectionate the pair are lol

the fact that ogasawara was obliviously third-wheeling sasaki & miyano made the chapter all the more entertaining.

the author’s bonus chapters have always been such a welcome delight, but seeing all the pr material she’s drawn up in honor of her characters here makes me really happy. it’s really clear how much she cares for this story and all the thought she puts into it is absolutely incredible. we’ve got official confirmation that we are nowhere close to the end, and are soon to see this entire cast in their college era, which i can’t wait for. slice of life is completely this series’ strong suit.

i’ve officially caught up to the full extent of the english release in this series, and am now waiting in anticipation for the next volume!! i’ll definitely be coming back for a reread in the future <3

Este tomo se siente un poco más corto porque en general solo trata de la cita que tienen Sasaki y Miyano, y un momento donde en la universidad le preguntan a Sasaki por su pareja (el cual al ponerse a pensar, le surgen sentimientos de extrañar a Miyano y procede a buscarlo a su escuela) esto lo lleva a que se desarrolle una de las escenas más esperadas desde el tomo 1🔥 no diré más al respecto❤️‍🔥
Y durante su cita en el cumpleaños de Sasaki solo puedo decir que son muy lindos, y la mamá de Miyano que apoya a su hijo es todo lo que esta bien🫶🏼 Hanzawa secuestrando a Ogasawara para que no anduviera de mal tercio 10/10 😂
También se ve un desarrollo de personajes puesto que Sasaki se vuelve una persona más aplicada y dedicada a su futuro, mientras que Miyano al fin comienza a darse cuenta que no debe sentir vergüenza por tener muestras de cariño con Sasaki🥹 por que son pareja simple y sencillamente, ahí no depende de si son un chico que le gusta otro chico, y es algo que debería normalizarse.
PD: que traigan más Hirano y Kagiura🩵

Questo manga è una vera e propria coccola, un momento piacevole e delicato che arriva sempre al momento giusto,
Sasaki e Miyano che escono assieme per il compleanno del senpai e si scambiano regali e dichiarazioni sono teneri e timidi ma mai troppo zuccherosi.
Poi c’è quel pizzico di tensione che prende Sasaki che non vuole dire che ha per partner un ragazzo (non c’è l’affiatamento con gli amici del liceo che non giudicano) e questo fa si che voglia rivedere Miyano; insomma non è proprio tutto rose e fiori, e questo è decisamente un punto a favore di questo manga che sa essere molto divertente ma che ha anche un occhio per la realtà, pur mantenendo la questione su livelli minimi.

This one has some of my favorite scenes, and I especially love Sasaki, who was annoyed and stressed by his colleagues throughout his day and just needed to see Miyano to feel better. It's so relatable to want to see the one person you know who will make you happy when you've had an exhausting evening. The way he doesn't reveal that he is a guy right away is a little sad but sometimes it's better, especially when you're around strangers. I loved this manga and while it was short I pretty much flew through it with a smile. I also really enjoyed reading the bit with the amusement park with Ogasawa.

Seeing Sasaki and Miyano going on a date on Sasaki’s birthday, and their friends reacted to seeing them on the date, was both very amusing and very adorable to see play out. My favorite part was seeing Miyano taking the lead in things for a change and his gift to Sasaki.
It was also amusing to see Sasaki at his college and how others perceive him. I’m wondering if/when his college friend(s) eventually find out he’s dating Miyano, how they’d react.

I can’t believe I waited so long to continue this series. I love it so much.
I’m really happy that the story continued even after Sasaki graduated. I’m enjoying the new characters, seeing the senpai in casual clothes, and learning more about Miyano’s classmates.
The date was really cute, but more so I appreciated that we’re getting to see Sasaki and Miyano’s feelings evolve the more they interact. It sounds like something so simple; it’s just really well paced and refreshing to see.

ore adorable moments between our couple. This is the only series where I read the short stories cause they are so cute and I don't want to miss a moment. And the return of my favorite character Masato. He wasn't in it enough. But once again, I love this manga it has a good amount of friend vs relationship stuff. The birthday was so cuteeeeeeee, I am so sad I only have one more volume at this time to read.

even if the premise is very simple and the storyline is easy to follow, nothing really happens and no one gets hurt, there are so many instances of very typical plot elements used much better and in a fresh and unexpected way, making the story interesting, mature and, in some ways, a pure depiction of green-flagery in bl. love to see it, love to recommend it to my friends, willing to read more from the author 💖
