This is some of the loveliest, truest writing I've read in a while, a perfect example of how to create flawed characters who are still deeply sympathetic. I found myself admiring the love scenes - which almost never happens - for their emotional content, and for really accurately conveying the transformative power (or not!) that sex has on relationships.
