Joining an adult kickball league was supposed to give him a reason to rub elbows with political staffers and nonprofit bigwigs, but he didn't anticipate it would lead to an unexpected date with Coach Easton. Dodgefall is a rewarding read that provides all of the things I look for in a great story—relatable characters I found myself rooting for, a well-paced plot that provides just enough foreshadowing to keep me guessing but not reveal too much, and a realistic, hopeful and satisfying conclusion. I am excited to read more in the future from author, Ben Bisbee as he has a unique knack for capturing raw human emotions that are vulnerable and endearing.
