A review of quality education concepts to improve teaching

Rate this book
Quality in education needs to be the focal point of positive changes in the public school systems, to ensure that all students receive high quality education. This thesis provides a description of Total Quality Education (TQE) and how it and other techniques can be successfully integrated into the public schools to improve overall education for students. Three school districts successfully utilizing the TQM systems are discussed and contrasted to a school district in Southern California, demonstrating how their use of quality techniques should be emulated to develop a stronger learning environment for the students and more employee satisfaction by school employees. Teachers and others need to become “Change Agents” to implement positive improvement in the delivery of education for all students. Finally, there is a discussion of how schools in Southern California could benefit from implementation of quality education programs.
