The story behind the creation of the Disneyland Main Street Electrical Parade.
Corporate politics, resistance, lies, and subterfuge almost closed
this event before it opened. In this expose of a famous place at
a turbulent time, we look behind the façade at the making of a
uniquely successful parade that has been viewed for four decades
by a hundred million people. This is how the magic happened, and
it wasn’t always charming, but the distractions only crystallized
the spirit and determination of those who came together to build
something truly extraordinary.
Based on a true story.

A great historical fiction for any Disney fan. I'll certainly be recommending this book to friends. I would suggest that this be for high school level or older, as their are some adult themes.
