“Maybe you shouldn’t kiss me,” I whispered. “I’d rather die.” My chest swelled and every wall in me crumbled.

I have not read a book in one sitting for along (long long long) time. I am so beyond happy to say that Caged Moon was amazing, and guess what? I read it in one sitting, this book had me by the throat and would not let me go until I finished it!

Caged Moon follows Charlotte, when Charlotte was little she was attacked by an animal. Ever since then things haven’t been normal for her. Now that she is older she feels different, like she doesn’t belong or fit in with other girls and boys her age. On top of that she has wolves following her, at least she is pretty sure they are. Charlotte thinks she is losing her mind about these wolves, but when she meets a mysterious boy named Liam in the woods, everything slowly starts to make sense. Liam is helping her find out about herself..but what happens when the one helping you, may be the one after you…

This read blew me away! I love werewolf stories, but sadly out of all the werewolf novels I have read I have only found TWO series I like! I am so happy that I now have THREE! Caged Moon was a breath taking story of love, suspense, mystery, action, and finding one’s self.

There were two things I loved about this story most, first off I loved the characters. Characters are a huge deal to me in books, if I can’t connect with the characters or I don’t like the characters then the story is going to be a completely dud for me no matter how great everything else is. Caged Moon had some great characters! Charlotte I felt was really likeable, I felt sorry for how she felt so out of place around other people, but then when she met Ty, Liam and his friends I was jumping with joy that she found some friends that made her feel normal! Liam who is the lover boy of this book was amazing!!! He is deff one of my new lit crushes, I loved his snarky yet sweet and cocky personality! Ty who is Charlotte’s best friend was also awesome, I loved how she was so understanding of Charlotte and really just wanted what was best for her. Besides Liam and Charlotte though, one of my favorite characters was Byron, I thought he was hilarious! All together I think Rachel put together some amazing characters, I’m not sure if Caged Moon is a series or not, but if it is I cannot wait to see more of these guys in book two!

The second thing I loved was the unique-ness of the story. Sadly I can’t really go into detail about this because it will give away the whole mystery part of the story, and I for one will not ruin such an awesome factor for you guys if you plan to pick it up! (which you totally should). Let me just say that most werewolf stories are the same concept, and that Caged Moon had a different fresh new take that was spectacular.

Now I feel bad that this review is more of a ‘fan girl’ review, but honestly I am still just so excited that I finally found another book that was able to practically force me to keep reading it until I finished it. Caged Moon was a delightful read from beginning to end, and left me crossing my fingers hoping that this will be a series!

I loved, loved, loved this book!

I'd never heard of the book but for some reason I just felt compelled to read it. So glad I did. Liam was such a sweetheart.

I'm all for that consuming kind of love and I saw that Rachel has a book from Liam's pov out. Can't wait to read that! I was very in love with him and how patient and caring he was.

5 so glad I took a chance stars from me!!

1.5 stars.

I can't believe that this book was so disappointing. I really expected to love this. A werewolf fan, it's not very often that I don't enjoy books about werewolves. But it was very hard to enjoy this one, there was so much that annoyed me. And yet, Rachel's writing was fine, her style was enjoyable, the story flowed, and the characters were well written. But just so much of things that happened annoyed me. For instance, insta love, a major no no for me. And also, insta best friends, another no no. With Charlotte almost instantly revealing all her secrets to Ty, a girl she's just met, and then also revealing all of Liam's secrets.

In the beginning, Charlotte thinks Liam is weird and a stalker, yet she lets him into her house, and gets into his car to go off alone with him, all the while banging on about not trusting him. Charlotte had to be one of the most annoying characters ever.

In fact, this is probably one of the most annoying books I've read in a long time, because with the size of my tbr and the amount of review books I have stacking up, I don't waste my time with books I'm not enjoying. But as this qualified for two challenges I had set myself, and wasn't too long, I persevered. My son is sick today, and just wanted me to sit beside him and cuddle with him, so I got a lot of reading in today, and I can't say I enjoyed one minute of it. I definitely won't be continuing on with this series.

Man I just love me stories with wolves in it. I just love how they have that whole Alpha thing going on. I love a strong man who can shift and kick A$$! With that being said I would like to give a huge THANK YOU to Rachel for allowing me to read her book and review it. I am also hosting a blog host and character interview on my blog tomorrow so stop on by to read about Liam, Charlotte, Ty and Aaron. Here is the link http://adiaryofabookaddict.blogspot.com/

Charlotte is moving to a new town because her father is a doctor and has gotten a new position. She is not happy about moving but she loves her father and will do anything for him. On the way to the new house her father decides to spend a night at a local camp sight because he loves camping and bird watching. Charlotte is really not feeling outdoorsy but she does not have the heart to tell her father because he is so excited to be there.

Once she gets there she is tired and wants nothing more than to lay down and go to sleep. She asks her father where the bathrooms are and on her way there her flash light dies and she panics. See Charlotte does not like the dark or the woods because she was attacked by an animal when she was little. While she is trying to find her way back to the camp she runs into a guy. When she meets him she is overtaken by his looks and his actions towards her that she stops and stares at him for some time until he speaks. They end up talking for a while outside and she realizes she does not want to go to bed anymore she wants to talk to this stranger.

Charlotte is not sure but she knows she feels something for this guy and she is not sure why. What is he? Where did he come from? Will she see him again? Will he like her? So many questions are going through her head that she can't think straight. She wants to see him again but she is not sure if she will. When she finally does see him again she realizes that there is definitely something different about him and his friends. Will she be able to uncover his secrets? Will she like what she finds? Will she like him after she finds out what he is?

Dying to find out what happens like I was then go out and by the book. BEST wolves read I have read in a long time!

When going in to reading any self-pub book, I always have the same sort of fears. Sometimes self-pub books can be really great, and other times they can...well.. SUCK. Luckily, this was a case of the former.

I COULDN'T PUT THIS BOOK DOWN. I believe this is actually only the second five star review I've given this year, and the first was to The Fault In Our Stars by John Green. Yep. It's that good. I almost don't know where to start.

The first time I picked this up the night I got it. I wanted to read a few pages to see if I could get into it. After reading a few chapters, I drifted to sleep. (Not because I wanted to, but because I had to.) I woke up and went to school. Upon arriving home, I picked it up and didn't put it down until I was done reading it.

I don't know what I loved more: the characters or the mystery. I guess it's kind of a tie. But let's start with the characters. Charlotte: a girl that's very understandable even when dealing with a problem that no one has dealt with before. Liam: the most drool-worthy-hunk I've read about in a long, long, time. (I want him for myself. Charlotte seriously needs to back off.) Add a cast of extremely entertaining supporting characters plus a mystery and action packed plot that had me turning the pages as fast I could= THE BEST PARANORMAL I'VE READ THIS YEAR. Without a doubt.

By the climax, I was wondering what was true and what wasn't, who I should trust and why I should trust them, and what the hell was going on. I don't want to give too much away, but oh-my-god.

So if you're in the mood for a great paranormal/romance/action/mystery (and who the heck isn't?) then you should read this book. If you read, you should read this book. Now that I'm done with it, do you know what I want? Another adventure with this characters that's what. :)

Fantastic!! That is the only way to describe this book. I loved it so much I didn't want it to end.
I am a major fan of werewolf books and this one ticked all the right boxes. It had suspense, romance, action, and a whole lot more. I was on the edge of my seat while reading it.
The story follows Charlotte as she tries to understand what is happening to her. Ever since she was attacked by an animal when she was young, she has had the feeling of being followed. By wolves. She doesn't know whether it's post traumatic stress or if she really is being followed. Then she meets Liam. And her life is turned upside down.
This book had me hooked from the very beginning. There were so many twists and turns I didn't know what was going to happen next. The story line was amazing. It was really unique and the writing just flowed. I loved the characters, they were such a crazy group of people. I loved them all.
One thing that did annoy me though was the love story. For most of the book Charlotte keeps jumping back and forth between trusting and fearing Liam. Then all of a sudden she says she loves him. I don't get it. How can she say she loves him if she doesn't even know if she can trust him. Confusing but I got over it. Everything else in this book was amazing that I was able to overlook that little annoyance.
I don't know if this is the first of a series but I really, really, really hope it is! There were so many things left unresolved and questions left unanswered. I want more! Please let there be a second book!!

Anyone who loves a good werewolf book needs to get this one! Seriously!! :)

Teaser:

“Maybe you shouldn’t kiss me,” I whispered.

Terrible. Absolutely terrible. Was this written by an undereducated 14 year old? It was complete and utter fuckery. The plot was so far beyond unrealistic. The character's were dull, and believed things far too quickly - which made the book even more unrealistic. The main character had no depth, had no personality, and was such a bore to read through. She accepted things without a blink; Liam was like "I'm a werewolf", Charlotte (main character): "Oh, they don't exist, but I believe you anyway. I'm scared, but I totally trust and love you." This was by, like, the 4th fucking chapter! Then the same when she found a book about Liam being a possible killer. She didn't give a fuck, or so it felt like since no emotion was described, the main character just wanted to keep on kissing him. Then the same thing when she found out she was a wolf and had a rare gift. Where is the shock? Where is the disbelief? Where is the fucking fear? Nothing. There was absolutely nothing. No emotion. Not detail. NOTHING. I don't even know what the character's looked like, sounded like, nada - no description was used. I also found so many grammar errors; how can you mistake "where" and "were"? HUH? You're an author, Rachel Deagan, and you should triple check for grammar errors AND get a damn editor to do the same. Sounds like you didn't, because most of the errors in your book were so lame and obvious that they made me laugh and cringe at the same time. Ugh. Stupid book. This is a moment where, if I hadn't of payed for the book, I'd run it over with my car and then burn the stupid thing.

They were moving to a new town and while Charlotte and her dad didn’t want to make a trip back, they stayed at a campsite. Charlotte meets Liam there after getting lost and her flashlight no longer worked. Something was drawing her to him and his scent was overwhelming. What was it that was attracting her to him? Why was he following her and now showing up at her new school and home? She had been bitten by what she thought was a dog when she was younger but that wasn’t the case. Her senses were sharper and there was something more to Liam than she knew. Danger lurked in all corners for them and with her friend Ty and Liam’s brother Aaron, all was going to change. This was a cute story about how Charlotte was fated to be something else. I enjoyed reading it.

Hmm...the cover was pretty...I think that is the only compliment I have....oh wait...the idea that two of the wolves, at least, were born wolves first could have went somewhere that this book failed to take it...that was half a compliment.

What teenage girl--who was attacked by wolves and fears they are following her--goes to investigate noises at 3:15 in the morning by herself when her dad is with her!? She doesn't want to be too loud trying to wake him, in case the prowlers hear her but she has no problem turning on a flash light? No...they'd never notice that...
I also decided that all of her questions to Liam were invalid considering she was calling Liam out on the exact same things she was doing...oh I don't know like coming out in the dark to confront possible drunk men who may wish her harm?
Not to mention: why the fuck is she alone in the middle of the night with a boy she does not know, in the middle of the woods?? These things should have had better explanations.
It was not awesome with how the whole werewolf shit came up. That whole mess was poorly done. I would have recommended this author actually reading a werewolf novel before writing one so she would know that the expectations were higher than what this book could possibly meet.
There seemed to be a lot of the story missing. None of it made logical sense, including the conversations between the characters. Things kind of came out of no where, and you're left going...what the fuck? Where did that come from? Or...Okay..? What was the purpose of that being said, other than to give the author a reason to introduce more of this crazy ass shit without having a real explanation. That's called laziness, and it isn't something many readers are fond of...if any.
Charlotte came up with all kinds of crazy assumptions without really having a reason to. And that annoyed me. She only met Liam 2-3 times and somehow she is now a fucking expert on all things Liam? All right then!
Chapter 3: All of a sudden she is at her new school...it's like a slap in the face. You had no idea this was going to happen..at all. In fact, through that whole debacle in the woods, I completely forgot that Charlotte was moving! So I was like "what in the hell..." when all of a sudden she is no in school.
"You weren't kidding. She does smell like a bitch." That was my favourite line in this book. And If I had stopped reading there, this book might have got a better review from me.
I was left to wonder how Charlotte could possibly have such a convicted opinion of someone she had met only three times. "He's so secretive." Not really, in fact, I'd say he was doing a really shitty job of trying to be secretive.
"Why are you so interested in me? You don't even know me." How many times was this question asked? I think at least 3...and it was never answered directly.
I noticed an inconsistency. Why was Ty in the cafeteria when Charlotte had her panic attack? They did not share the same lunch hour, which was explained when Charlotte ended up having Liam and his pack show up at her table. Funny that I can recall this but I couldn't recall if you ever knew what Charlotte looked like...
"He nodded in a way... that let me know he knew things about me." Uh...what? How can someone convey this information to you with a fucking nod...?
The instant love for all the characters in here that found it was disgusting and annoying. Character and relationship development is a GOOD thing to have in your novel. I don't know why so many authors feel the need to leave them out.
"If I hadn't known her better I would have thought she had done this before." Uhm, she didn't know her better. She knew her for maybe a week? Yeah, I don't know what planet Rachel Deagan lives on...but in the real world it takes time to get to know someone. I am also concerned with the fact that Ty didn't seem to have any other friends. She had supposedly lived there since at least the 3rd grade. I found myself feeling sorry for her.--See, character development is important so we don't get the wrong idea!
Charlotte is an idiot of character. She does not learn from her mistakes. She does not listen to anyone...at all. Especially when she needs to. She jumps to conclusions but will not hear anyone out. She is also extremely gullible and believes people without question, when questions are indeed appropriate. She has an uncanny ability to make anything that requires a battery to die when it is needed. She prefers to jump headfirst into trouble knowing it could possibly be the death of her, deliberately without back up. She also has no problem dragging other people into fucked up situations she creates, that could also get them killed. I hate reading from an imbecile's perspective. Why can't these characters have a brain and know how to use it?
This book was set up for convenience without explanation. And that doesn't work for me. It pisses me off. And I feel like I only read half of the fucking story. And this is how this book reads...only it's more like you're only reading an eighth of it.
Did I mention all of the missing words...or wrong words...and bad punctuation? There were also a lot of awkward sentences that really just didn't make any sense.
Yeah anyway...what a rant. I would not recommend this.

Rant:

When you read a book with “Moon”, “Wolf”, “Alpha”, etc., you should never really be too surprised that you’re going to be reading a story of werewolves or shape shifters. Seriously. I have seen so many comments that it isn’t hard to figure out that there are weres in the story. WTF?! Come on, that’s why authors put those magic little words in the title – so that us were fans will know to buy the book! Otherwise we might be reading about gargoyles or 50 shades of some color by accident.

OK, rant over.

Yes, I am a werewolf fanatic. I was turned when I first saw An American Werewolf in London 31 years ago (and yes, I was just an infant at the time, but I was a very advanced infant). I love anything were. Except werehouses (because they’re way too cold and drafty and they tend to have a lot of spiders). But anyway:

This book hit every button for me. It’s definitely one of the better ones out there. I personally like it when the were doesn’t get all feral and forget what they do during their shift, because then you have to waste most of the book trying to figure out if they did or didn’t do something horrible, and they’re more likely to be shot by some psychotic hunter that really should have stayed home and paid attention to his family instead (because while he’s out hunting the good were, the bad were will break into his house and eat his wife, most of his children and the family dog. And maybe run up the cable bill.).

This book is not like that. All of the wolves are cool. Some are nice. Some not so much. And one or two of them are on the fence (which is pretty impressive considering that wolves don’t have that great a sense of balance when it comes to sitting on fences). I liked all of the characters. They were interesting. They did strange and sometimes stalkery kinds of things, but that’s OK, because werewolves are not known for having the most stable behavior patterns (as long as they don’t eat you, you’re doing pretty well).

There is a twist regarding Liam (and maybe his brother) that is pretty unique (yes, I know some people have mentioned another series, but I have read that it is terribly awful and I won’t read it – something about the male MC constantly talking about his womb just put me off to that. Therefore I can pretend that it doesn’t exist. {{{Shivers}}}).
As for insta-love: wolves find their mates and fall for them on first sniff. That’s how it works in the (real) wolf world, so that’s how it works in the were world. You must accept this on faith. It just is. Any writer who denies this doesn’t know any wolves or werewolves in real life and should be writing about sparkly vampires. If you are dating a shape shifter and she/he says they are on the fence about you, it just isn’t going to work out. Seriously. Find a sparkly vampire instead.

I read this book months and months ago (and 1.5 as well), and honestly, if Ms. Deagan does not publish the next volume soon, I’m probably going to fall into a coma or cheat and have to read a vampire novel (but not a sparkly one – kill me now if I ever go down that path). HURRY!:) I also make a solemn vow to read everything Rachel Deagan ever writes – including her grocery list (but she’ll have to show it to me first, because I am not a werewolf and won’t do something stalkery like break into a school to read it – though I do have to say that my high school was so boring that if a serial killer
broke in it would have livened up the day).

Incidentally, read Alpha Moon (1.5) as well, it’s a really good little book that gives some more insight into this one.

My rating: 5/5

Great debut novel, Rachel Deagan's forcing my inner wolf to scream for more!

When I first saw the book cover, I was wondering if I should try this book. The cover is pretty and I really like the black wolf: not sure if I should trust him or not! I love the fact that we can't see the details of this mysterious wolf and I was drawn to it at first sight!

THEN, I read the blurb and I was done. When I got the opportunity to read it, I wasn't able to take off my eyes of the lines. I started it on friday night and sunday afternoon, I was done with the book! The storyline is so enthralling and all the mystery around Charlotte even Liam and the rest of the pack was super intriguing. The author: Rachel Deagan, always find the right moment/word/sentence to make the reader eager to want more. The way the story is writen, the reader doesn't have the choice: they have to read it!

Charlotte, the main character, seems to have a normal teenage kind of life but when she's moving with her family in a new town, she'll meet a strange guy, Liam, and everything about him isn't what it seems! Strange things happening around her and surprisingly, Liam and his friends always seems to be around went something is wrong! Wonder why!

I love the interaction between Liam and Charlotte. Liam is hiding something from Charlotte and he's evasive on every subject, leading Charlotte to be more intuitive and on her gardes! The plot was one of the best I read in 2012, for an YA book. I was so into this mystery, trying to uncover the true before the main character, I was so wrong!!! So I give my surprising eyes wide open for the thrilled action pack plot! Ok actually, this one really freaks me out!!!

The relation between Charlotte and Liam is slow but still present, even if Charlotte is a little afraid of what Liam could be. I give my candy floss love for this one! And I got both here: eyes wide open and candy floss!!!

The ending was interesting and not what I suspected, but not someting I never read. I hope there's another book on the way!!!

If you're a werewolf/shifter lovers, YA paranormal romance lovers: this book is for you! BUY, try it, at least put it on your TBR pile!!!

Werewolf and shapeshifter books happen to be some of my favorite types. There's something about a feral yet tame (sometimes) beast that becomes human that lures me in. Caged Moon is a great addition to the genre. Think Maggie Stiefvater's Wolves of Mercy Falls, like that one? Then this is definitely worth a look.

My one complaint and the reason I would say 4 stars instead of 5. Insta-Love. The dreaded love at first sight syndrome that makes me sad, no really it makes me sad. Charlotte is a great character and so is Liam but they could have taken a little longer to get to know each other. Before long he's professing love and I myself am thinking, wait, did I miss a few pages here; why do you love her. It's a feeling he has, he's drawn to her. And, while their relationship seems genuine, the fun chase in the beginning could have gone on a bit longer.

My favorite character in the book is dorky, cute, and stalker Liam. Too bad he's not real because Charlotte would have a serious fight on her hands (not that I'd be able to compete with her, and I'm sure my husband wouldn't be too happy). But, I'm serious. He's a fantastic male lead and alpha in his case, he's great. The book is honestly full of great characters, like Liam's rowdy friends, but if I had to choose just one to keep me warm at night it'd be Liam ;)

The book is full of mystery and suspense. Liam's past, that he may or may not share with Charlotte, is hard to figure out. He's secretive and closed off, especially when it comes to his family. When Charlotte and her friend Ty start to find answers Ty's life hangs in the balance as Charlotte trusts her instincts, even the ones she's been suppressing since she was 5. With a nonstop story line, funny characters, an adorable love story, and plenty of action Caged Moon is definite must-read for Paranormal fans.

I was attracted to this book because it sounded like it would be interesting.

Haunted by an animal attack, seventeen year old Charlotte feels she is being followed. When she runs into a mysterious boy while camping, she’s afraid. Nothing seems right about him. Despite trying to stay away, there is an unmistakable draw to be near him. Even his scent smells familiar. But the closer she gets, the faster the secrets begin to unravel. Not only is he not human, he may have a link to her past. When Charlotte finds out someone wants her dead, she is torn between love and fear. Can she trust him to keep her safe?

I felt lost from the very beginning of this book, but I kept reading hoping that the mystery would clear up and the story would improve. The story continued to hold my interest, the mystery was somewhat revealed, but there were still several consistency errors that bothered me.

I enjoyed the story and the attempt to create the mystery around Charlotte was great. Unfortunately, I think the introduction of Liam and his friends and the pacing of the story made it hard to follow the plot at times.

The ending was a nice climax in the story, but parts of it felt rushed and thrown together without much foreshadowing or explaining.

This story went by really quick, but that wasn't necessarily a good thing. I felt like the timeline was all off; things couldn't possibly have happened during the time constraints (i.e. how could Aaron be mates with Ty, when the first they met was when Aaron followed Ty and Charlotte home?!).

Anyhow - things aren't explained very well OR there's a complete lack of explanation. Pretty much zero werewolf mythology, just a bunch of paranoia from a girl who thinks she was attacked by a dog when she was 5. The reader essentially knows throughout the entire story that she's a bitten werewolf, which I suppose isn't a problem since the story is called "Caged Moon" but because the main character and her new BFF are so young (read: immature) they don't realize a thing. Also it annoys me how much Charlotte divulges in her new (seriously, met her that day and they're instantly best friends) friend, especially after she is told by "Liam" that it very dangerous.

Fast read with plot holes and IMHO uncreative storyline.

I read Caged Moon as a result of seeing a blog tour Rachel was taking part in. After reading the description, I became curious about the book. The premise sounded interesting and when it came up for free on Amazon, I took advantage of the price and got it.

The main character, Charlotte was created with just the right mixture of personality and mystery. I loved the friendship between her and Ty. Liam was a little more of a flat character, but there was enough going for the story that it made up for it. I also enjoyed the complex rivalry that grew between Aaron and Liam in the story.

This book was worth the download. I am a huge fan of all things werewolf and this book was no exception. The plot was interesting and complex. I was guessing until the very end. In fact, I was bummed when the Caged Moon drew to a conclusion.

After reading this story, I would highly recommend it to YA paranormal fans! Then be sure to look for Rachel's next story in this series, Alpha Moon.

I was just browsing Goodreads, and found this book. I had planned on reading another book, but somehow, I started reading Caged Moon instead. And what can I say? I just loved this book. I loved the character of Liam, how loving and sweet and true he was. I loved his friends, especially Byron and Steve. I also liked Aaron, and I have to admit, it was lovely to see the . I liked Charlotte as well. This book was very refreshing. And I finished it in a matter of just a few hours, which is saying something. I couldn't - wouldn't - put this one down, and just kept reading it nonstop. It was so different, nothing like the other werewolf books I've read, but I must admit, some things did seem familiar to me, but I didn't care, because all of it was written in such an amazing sequence.
I so can't wait for the second installment! I want more of Liam and Aaron!!!!!!!

You've GOT to be kidding me! ... I love to read fantasy, you know make-believe stories but there has also got to be a limit.

Here we go again love at fist sight. Please just put me out of my misery and shoot me now...

This is how I feel throughout the whole story

See what I mean?
Repeat that sequence about a thousand times and you have chapters 1-12

Sigh This is all I need to say for this book.

This book is horrible!! It had good reviews on Amazon so I figured I'd give it a try... Big mistake! I can not believe how bad the writing is and how choppy the story is. The main character Charlotte is so stupid! She believes wolves follow her, meets a boy she barely knows and finds herself kissing him a few days later after he shows up at her house uninvited. During the kiss, he shreds part of her shirt, but hey, he was just into the kiss?! Please!! Also, anyone who reads this closely would notice that she claims to have been attacked when she was 5 but another time it was 6, then it goes back to 5. Wth!? Aside from all that, the writing skips around like crazy, there's absolutely no transitions from one scene to the next, no descriptions. I barely know what anyone even looked like!? Horrible, horrible, horrible book!! Do not read!!!

Terrible. Poor word usage. Bad grammar. Consistently wrong use of homonyns: bated vs baited, do vs. due. Occasional use of two words when they should have been smashed together as one. Plot showed potential initially but died a horrible death with too much inconsequential 'where-the-hell did that come from' dialogue and.not enough clear background descriptions of what the characters were doing, feeling or seeing and so it was difficult to find even one likeable character since we never could understand their motivations. The characters were static and had no growth or maturity. Parts of the plot were too similar to Twilight. They fell in love too fast / it was not believable. I could probably go on and on...

An absolutely amazing book about werewolves. It will suck you in with all the mystery, twist and turns and keeps your attention. The characters are awesome. Charlotte is a character that you could yourself as and that is always a good thing in a book. Liam I can see as being everyones next dream book boy. The secondary characters are just as good as the main ones. They keep the story flowing. It just goes a little to fast at times and that is what keeps it from being a five. Definitely a must read for anyone looking for a fantastic werewolf book with a wonderful plot that is very well written.

So this book was ok but it reminded me too much of Twilight with werewolves. The whole thing was nothing but romance. The plot was weak. The characters were shallow and the main character was a scaredy cat and a weak person who couldn't take care of herself. Even the ending was anticlimactic though she did finally gain a back bone only to lose it again. The plot was weak and had holes all over the place. Nothing at the end truly makes sense. Whose lying...? I just could not get into this book.

Caged Moon is a fast, decent YA read. Charlotte attracts the attention of a few males. Not sure where she fits in or what is so special about herself, she finds herself thrown into different situations.

The ending was interesting and not what I suspected. Can't wait for book 2

If you have a thing for werewolves/shifters, this book is for you! Buy it or at least but it on your TBR (To be read) pile of must haves.

Fantastic book and a very easy read. I was hooked from the beginning all the way to the last page! I loved the storyline and how it was kinda different from the usual werewolf books.
Overall, a great read! Can't wait to read the sequel.

This book was really difficult to get through. There were so many errors (grammatically and simple typing errors.) It made reading not flow when you have to pause to get through an extra "the" ... or "are" instead of "our"... this book definitely should have been edited better. As for the actual story, it was written so events were so quick in succession that there was no natural build to what should have been a big reveal moment. Relationships between characters were unbelievable because nobody had any depth. One second Charlotte is brand new to an area, the next second she has a "best friend" who she shares every tiny little secret with, oh, and after knowing a guy who she thought was a stalker/killer and considered calling the cops on... well she decides in a matter of moments that she's in love with him and trusts him over her supposed "best friend"... the werewolf relationships in the pack were undefined, the backstory of the main character was weak, the teenager behavior felt like it was written by someone who was never an adolescent, and the conclusion of the book left me more confused than satisfied. I'm unfamiliar with Rachel Daegan's works, but if I had to judge her skills on this one book, I'd guess that she was a new young author with little experience. I won't be finishing the series.

I loved it!!! there are no words to describe how incredible this book is! It took a while to get into this book but once you did it was incredible!! I love all the character especially Liam's pack.
Rachel Deagan managed to get the perfect balance between revealing everything and revealing nothing. it also ended perfectly to open onto the next book.
overall I rate this 5 stars. it was a good length and no pointless characters or scenes.
Thourghouly recommend. already bought the next book
