Nimah Washington is an African American princess, born into an affluent family and Ivy League educated. She’s also ambitious, dictatorial and aggressive. With Nimah Washington’s pedigree and connections she has everything going for her. Birthright and influential friends have positioned Nimah for success and social acclaim. But Nimah has a secret. This secret could have her ostracized by some while others might relish in its allure.
Nimah is careful to keep her appetites private, nevertheless; the secret is out. Nimah is exhilarated, embarrassed, excited and livid at what she deems an “obnoxious intrusion into her life.” Try as she might, she’s unable to discover the identity of the mystery man or woman who is engaging in a sexy game of cat and mouse. Intrusion or no, Nimah is drawn into the dark suitor’s web. Reason and self-preservation don’t have a chance when Nimah’s libido is in hyper drive.
Nimah is not a particularly amiable protagonist. She is the definition of narcissism and is overbearing in the work place, but she meets her match in the bedroom. She will learn the true meanings of dominance and submission. In addition to finding Nimah off-putting, I found the dialogue somewhat ineffectual.
Nonetheless, fans of this type of sexual play will have a spanking good time. Don Abdul’s gifts for description are so spot-on, they will leave the reader contemplating very debauched activities. Be prepared to sweat in a good way as you read, A Reluctant Slave by Don Abdul. You may need to have a fan near by as you read, A Reluctant Slave.

This is a book to get your pulse pounding. By adding the suspense of a mystery to be solved by his central character to the usual heat of his passionately described sexual encounters and the exciting discovery by this powerful woman of her hunger for submission to a dominant man, Don Abdul has created a real page-turner.

Turned out wins out and she is taken on a wild ride that fills all her fantasies.
Review. This is a short erotic romance. But I would say its more an erotic adventure. Its a fast paced ride
for Nimah as she tries to figure out who her mysterious lover is. I really cant say very much about this book
since it's short and sweet. But it is an erotic roller coaster ride full of sexy scenes and fun.

In my humble opinion, whether you write a short story or a novel, if the story is good, then it deserves 5 stars. A Reluctant Slave is hot, hot, hot. Wow! High powered corporate woman wants a man to dominate her and make all the decisions for her when it comes to sex. She wants to be a slave to a dom. The story takes a twist and she has a mysterious person sending her notes telling her what she is to do, she follows instructions, but not without trepidation. If you like the BDSM genre, this book is for you. You have to keep turning the page to find out who the mystery person is and how it ends. Like I said this book is hot and definitely a panty changer. Great story Mr. Abdul.

Very nicely written. I enjoyed this book as I have my fantasies of being a slave. The fact that this woman can be high up on the corporate ladder and still become a slave to a dominant is very exciting.
