There is a lot of good advice in this book. For someone who is new at their career or needs to be motivated to improve their game, I would certainly recommend it.

It is, however, scattershot and unfocused. Tracy touches on everything from how to plan your sales trips to what you should put in your briefcase when you travel on an airplane.

It's also really dated. "Go to the store and buy a rolodex" might have been good advice 20 years ago.

Overall, I'm glad I read it, but it leaves a lot to be desired.

A very useful book on how to regain lost time for productivity every day, from identifying and avoiding timewasters, to improving efficiency to creating a schedule and sticking to it. Plan your work and then work your plan is the way to go, so you spend most of your time on the activities that will get you when you want to go. This book includes tips of goal setting, thorough planning and execution. It's worth spending a few hours reading.

Glad I didn't judge by the cover. This book has already proven to be a tremendous resource for myself & others I've shared it with. Time = your life. Brian Tracy provides questions to help you clarify: who you are, what your talents are and therefore how you might want to spend your most previous resource, time. Everyday I read this there were ideas & techniques I began using immediately.

And amalgamation of every time management book that you've ever read with a twist on the power of the law of attraction. Took me a little bit to get through it. Some sound advice, but again probably nothing that you don't already know. I will say it was motivating and reminded me to incorporate planning long-term personal goals into my daily routine.

It has good tips and a unique way of looking at things. Some of the concepts are pretty entertaining in the way they are presented. Especially because he is not trying to present them in a humorous way.

Good principles, but nothing I've never heard honestly. Feels like a self help book with some action steps. Works better as a reference guide than a "book" per se.

Time Power is quite a fun read.

I like how Brian Tracy points out that time management is essentially life management. There's a strong focus on getting clear on one's values and priorities. Then, well, thoroughly reorganizing around this clarity. To a large extent, the techniques focus on bootstrapping some "effective time management" mind-agents to churn through every moment of one's day from now to the next century and beyond.

The advice for salespeople actually seems to apply to socializing and other pursuits, too :- ).

This was really good, and disappointing. It was good because there are so many gems and so much helpful information in these pages. It was disappointing because there were so many really powerful concepts and yet there were no real stories or tips to go with implementing all of these. He basically just lists bullet points of all the things you could do better, without any context or tips on how to do it. As a result I finished and just thought “man, if I lived the life this guy describes, I’d work all the time and have no life.” That’s not the kind of “more productive” I’d want to be.

Great book, I went back a second time to take notes. Many of it seems like common sense but when you apply some of the practical strategies they really are effective (most of it relies on writing things down). I like his writing style, it's very positive and motivating. Definitely perked up morale...Highly recommended for people that need to get things done.

A must read if you desperately need to learn how to manage your time efficiently. If you’re already decent at managing time you’ll find in this book that there are principles you’ve already been practicing unconsciously. Nevertheless, go through it all if you strive for excellence. Brian will surely help you improve on time management.

Getting around to it.

If you like simple ideas that are easy to implement, be sure to get this book. One idea I took away was the timber getting around to it disks. I won’t spoil it, so buy the book and implement it.

Brian, thank you.

Me, to author: If your book is about time (how to handle it better), why is it 8 cd's long and just full of recycled material from your other books...?
*only made it into ch.2 , because that seems like it should be enough space to get your point across

This book is full of great advice on how to be more productive at work. Each chapter contains a lot of advice worth going back to again. The book is geared especially towards those in the sales, but I still found a lot of useful information that is relevant for any workplace environment.

Only read half of the book, because - oh irony - I didn't find the time to finish it before the hand-in deadline of the local library.

Picked up some good practical time management tools though such as the ABCD method.
