My fairytale has turned into an absolute nightmare, and I can’t wake up.
Glamor is the second, and last, book in a duet. It follows Gina and Nightfall’s story. This steam-filled duet can be read as standalone but would be best enjoyed after reading Becoming the Demon Queen trilogy.
Charlene lives on an acre in the country with her husband, three children and an array of pets including a snake. In her spare time you can usually find her typing away franticly on the computer completely lost in worlds of her making. She is an avid believer that it is the small things that truly matter like the feeling you get when you start reading a new book or a particularly beautiful sunset. Charlene likes to write bite stories her readers can sink their teeth into. Sign up for her latest release newsletter for more information http://mad.ly/signups/96708/join
The final book in this duet for Nightfall and Gina is amazing❣️ I have to admit I had a few anxious moments and a couple of times I wanted to pull a few characters hair out…violently…but overall I really loved the ending to their story.
Nightfall is trying to save his realm from the Hunger when his Council persuades him to enter into an arranged marriage to form an alliance. However, he soon is called to help Gina and then convinces her to come to their realm. But dangers are afoot and Nightfall needs to navigate these to ensure war doesn’t come to his realm😳
Loved this couple and I’m excited to read the next couple😉 I received an advanced copy and voluntarily leave my honest review❤️
This is the conclusion of Gena and Nightfall story ( book one “ guilt “must be read first) Gena doesn’t want anything to do with Nightfall but she must spend her pregnancy in his realm for the well-being of the baby. But as soon as the baby is born she plans to leave for the simple reason that Nightfall is going to marry for duty someone else and she doesn’t want to be there when that happens. Nightfall is torn between duty to his people and the ever growing sense of belonging whenever he is with Gena. This might be the first time he is going to be selfish and do something for himself even if this means war against his fiancée’s people. Fast- paced, gripping and heartbreaking: the HEA for Gena and Nightfall seems impossible but a twist at the end you won’t see coming will give them hope for a future together. Can’t wait for the new chapter set in this world:blood. I received an advanced copy of the book in exchange for an honest and voluntary review.
Gina now has her happy ever after. Loved how things work out for Nightfall, no more war, and he got his heart desire Gina. So loved that the Hunger is no longer a threat to Autumuburn since the baby arrived. But they are not out of the woods yet cause that crazy Vampire Vespyr is on the loose, and now Nightfall agreed to help Bellingham and sending his loyal subject Aurora to assist with solving their problem with the Hunger as well. Pity he doesn't know that Aurora drank the coolaid and had a taste of Said Vampire..oooh uh can't wait to see what happens with Aurora and Bellingham story.
Ooohhhh the suspense in this one was delicious, the drama from the ice princess was chefs kiss! I must say I’d have made Nightfall grovel more than he did, but no one can doubt he loves her. I loved her friendship with Grimbly and how he was her biggest cheerleader when she was sad. At 80% when he gave his speech I was getting LOTR battle vibes and I was loving it, then when they went over the hill I snort laughed!!! Brilliant!! Overall a fantastic story and I’m looking forward to what happens next with the vampires and the fae. I received an ARC and this is my honest review.
I like these authors. I really enjoyed the preceding‘Becoming the Demon Queen’ trilogy. I was frustrated by the main characters in these books. The FMC went from fun, strong, and assertive to insecure and weepy. The MMC was always rather selfish but indecisive. I have trouble giving books 4-5 stars when the characters show no growth or development. I like the authors enough that I will probably read the next books about the vampires and I absolutely recommend reading other books they have written.
I absolutely loved this story! Nightfall and Gina are both so amazing! They are both going through their own things and are trying to do what’s best for everyone even if they have to sacrifice their own happiness. This book keeps you captivated and just waiting to see what happens! Some awesome side characters! A beautiful story that I can’t recommend enough! Can’t wait for the next duet! These authors are brilliant! This is my honest opinion of this complimentary copy of this book
I’ve been waiting for this conclusion to Nightfall & Gina’s story after the drama of the previous book. It absolutely hasn’t disappointed as Nightfall continued to dig himself deeper into trouble with Gina & the misunderstandings just continued. Grimbly was a great triumph as a character making me laugh so hard but saying it how it is! Wonderful conclusion to this couple & I can’t wait to see what happens with the next part which is “Bob’s” story.
I loved this book, and the series and all the books in this world the authors created. Gina gets pregnant, by mistake, by Nightfall, king of the fairies. Nightfall seems.like a big jerk by using Gina and his unborn child to.save his kingdom. But really, he feels the weight of all his peoples lives on his shoulders. This book is sexy, fun and just as addictive as the 1st book. I.couldnt put it down but now I'm sad its.over!
This was a great book. Lots of romance, lots of magic, lots of evil, coming together. Thought this was a 2-book series, but more to come. I can’t wait! Yes, yes! Just great romance and fun.
Anything with Charlene Hartnady is guaranteed to be worthwhile, but now I’m hooked on BE Brouillard. Will be deep diving into this author. Always fun to find an unfamiliar author that I can sink my teeth into.

I was so excited to read the wrap up of Gina and Nightfall's story! This duet was stock FULL of angst. It also introduced another couple whose story I cannot wait to read.
Glamor (Becoming the Fae Queen Book 2) by Charlene Hartnady & BE Brouillard. Fae King Nightfalls engagement to vampire Princess Vespyr is broken when Nightfall realises how important Gina is to him and war is inescapable. When all the forces are assembled they are stopped by an unusual sight.
Glamor, book 2 of Charlene Hartnady and BE Brouilard's Becoming the Fae Queen series. Nightfall, king of the Fae character is super hot and extremely well written. The ups and downs through out the book will have you reading straight through till The end.
This story was exciting, entertaining and just Fantastic!!!. Charlene and BE, are PHENOMENAL writers and storytellers!!. Can't wait to continue reading this series🤗😊.
