Gullveigarbók: An Investigation of Gullveig in Old Norse Mythology & Her Anti-Cosmic Nexus

Rate this book
Gullveig is the Teutonic and Germanic highest feminine principle of darkness – the maid, the mother, and the crone: Gullveig’s traits are analogous to Lilith’s and Hecate’s. In the Old Norse Mythology she is the sinister arch- mother of the giants and the black arts; she’s also the divine feminine manifestation of the analogue thursian purpose.

I am currently studying religious science at a university with an ultimate goal to research Old Norse Religion. Below I will give you a better understanding of my personal views from where my occult knowledge ascends.

I have a particular interest in mythology and its symbolism, the Old Norse mythology is full of deep-rooted allegorizations and metaphors that are very hard to interpret. Sharp-witted epithets illuminate the sagas and give them a very detailed account if interpreted correctly. This however needs a sharp eye and a deep understanding of the foundation of the myths. It is where it becomes difficult, because today we are left with just fragments of the Old lore; the bigger part of the mythology has withered with time, lost forever. So it’s our job, as authors, mythologists, occultists, Satanists, etc, to recollect and put back together the once extravagant mythology and religion. This puzzle is very complex and needs a deeper study of the original texts, because the scripts are as unembellished and untainted as they can be. Later translations and studies are actually interpreted in their individual way – which means in the end the sagas are so far from their original scripts that Loki has become an áss and Gullveig has become Freyja, which in both cases are totally false and by me a mockery to the Old belief.

The religious praxis is another devotion of mine, to understand its essence in function fascinates me beyond explanation; my never-ending thirst for its knowledge possesses me and leaves me no rest. Because of my eclectic background in occult studies, eclecticism is a fundamental form in my thinking and praxis. This spawns for example the fusion of Old inventions with modern expansions which by me is a very important part in non-static witchcraft. Old Norse witchcraft is known to be inventive and creative, a practical and spiritual evolution was a fundamental concept – and I’d be a fool not to follow that. This will result in my coming book URAM: Old Norse black magic within the anti-cosmic tradition. The book of Old inventions and modern expansions. This book is still in progress.

I would also like to bring up Chaos-Gnosticism, which is the innards and roots of my belief, so is the anti-cosmic Satanism. Chaos-Gnosticism is inspired of the ancient religion called Gnosticism which was built on the belief that the cosmic demiurge – who by sundry religions is called Yahweh, God, Zeus, Óðinn, etc – is the evil god in the material creation of the cosmos. The light that the demiurge is distributing is a false and unclean light, and that the demiurge is more of a tyrant than a savior. And in Chaos-Gnosticism the Satanist adopts the fundamental belief of Gnosticism and fuses it together with the anti-cosmic belief in Chaos. This means that the cosmic demiurge is the “evil” god who enslaves souls and imprisons them so that they become nothing more than a shell of clay; blind and unenlightened. While the true light bringer, Lucifer or Loki, is the savior who will enlighten you with the unfalse light, and guide you out of the shackles of the demiurge to finally transcend unto the acosmic Chaos. The anti-cosmic Chaos-powers are thus seen as the destroyers of causal structures and cosmic bonds. This is how I transfer the anti-cosmic purposes and essences onto the thurses (þursar), as the thurs-powers are told in the Old Norse sagas to come out of Ginnungagap which dwells in Chaos, evidently they are the wrathful powers who restlessly aim to destroy the world of the ǽsir. With a Chaosophic view it’s not hard to understand the nexus.

I love that Johan / Vexior is very to the point in his explanations. He doesn't fuck around trying to be wordy, which is nice because the subject matter can get confusing if you're not overly familiar with it.
Again... I adore his art / illustrations.
