Yes, magic exists. Not the backwater voodoo witches practice where Mississippi Deputy Sheriff Margot Saulnier grew up. But the age-old black magic a woman weaves around a man that draws him under her spell. The kind Margot’s best friend used to kill her husband…and get away with it.

Margot chases her friend to Scotland, determined to prove her guilty of murder. No one will stop Margot. Not the SAS agent sent to watch her…and not the Scottish lord legend says murders his lovers when they cannot free him from the spell that has imprisoned him in Castle Morrison for three hundred years.

He’s just a legend.

And magick doesn’t exist.

Uniquely Twisted & Hot!

This wonderful story is so unique with the mystery behind the curse of Logan, Colin and the haunted Castle Morrison. The author has woven other elements into the story such as a touch of paranormal with witchcraft, spells, and voodoo magic within our modern world of erotic romance that is required to break the spell.

The element time travel is even added as the witch “Cat” in the modern world is also the same witch who originally cast the spell back in time but has somehow re-incarnated throughout time (300 years). To make it even more interesting the reader is introduced to a little historical element by learning about the Templars and their society of supposedly hidden treasures which added more to the twist of the mystery.

This story is not a fast paced read; it is full of information that leads up to the discovery of solving the mystery and I have to say all the clues had me glued to the pages. Normally I can have the mystery figured out within 1/3rd of the book but not in this one, I didn’t figure it out till towards the end.

I have to say that the character buildup of Margot was brilliant, she is one kick A S S heroine and sexy as H E L L. The author definitely did her homework on how a detective/sheriff works a case and the fact that the training you receive always remains with you even when you are not on duty. I loved how Margot knew how to estimate the deaths of the victims with the rotting decay of their bodies, very educational even for me.

Cat the Witch is like a black widow, she thrives on the kill in order to free her lover and Margot is determined to catch her. Logan and Colin’s characters are sexy and their bodies are sex on a stick with just one glance, one breath and one touch they have you melting in their hands and taking your breath away.

The erotic scenes are sizzling hot and will no doubt have you wishing they were in your own dreams. The history behind Colin and Logan is interesting as well, I always love reading about the Templars and their secret society and thought this was an excellent buildup for the mystery.

The meat of the story definitely kept me entranced, however the ending had my head a spinning with Margot realizing she was in love with two men at once but when the choice was made of which one she would leave behind and choose, Faith and destiny jumps in and chooses her path for her. Totally wicked how life throws us all curve balls.

This is one mystery story worth reading, Great Read!

Margot was a very interesting character. She had a wildness about her with a bit of money and beauty queen mixed in. Margot hopped on the right path after a terrible accident claimed a life of a friend. After he died she decided she wanted to help people and went school in order to become a cop. Never in her wildest dreams did she imagine her cousin would fall victim to an accident and that her best friend would suspected of killing him. But deep down in her gut she knew without a doubt that Cat was guilty. Even though her cousin's death was ruled as an accident, Margot was convinced that Cat had a part to play in it. How does a swimming champion drown?

Cat had put distance between herself and the small town she grew up in. But then Margot gets a call from Cat to visit her in the castle she now calls home. Margot believes she finally has her chance to prove Cat's guilt and accepts her offer. Her chief warns her not to pursue this or she will loose her job. Margot hands in her badge and gun before she takes off. She may have lost her career, but she can't forsake her gut feelings on her cousin death. She believes that Cat will slip up and possibly murder again.

Margot is unprepared for what she finds in Scotland. The dreams she has while staying there continue to grow more bizarre and feel so real. But they are only dreams, aren't they? As Margot continues to unravel the mystery that surrounds her former friend, she finds herself becoming more confused. Is everything really as it seems?

This book was quite interesting and Margot was a unique heroine. She has a wild streak that followed her from her youth, even though it was a bit more tame :) This story was quite unique in its makeup and you will enjoy many twists and turns. It was very when written and quite entertaining. I can't wait for more from this author!!

I was so looking forward to this story because I love ghost stories, especially when an old Scottish castle is involved. The premise of this book is basically an erotic murder mystery revolving around an old castle where a former lord is cursed to roam its halls until a young woman who is pure of heart frees him from a 300-year old curse. The murder being investigated is the death of a cousin to Margot, who is a Deputy Sheriff in the bayou of the Mississippi. Margot believes Donny's wife killed him and his wife just happens to be Margot's former best friend Cat. In the years since the murder, Cat bought a castle in Scotland, refurbished it, and invited Margot for a visit. Margot jumps at the chance to continue with her investigation of Donny's murder. Almost immediately after arriving at the castle grounds, she runs into a 300-year-old Scottish lord, and a handsome SAS Agent.

I'm not exactly sure where the title came from because there was no seduction at all — just raw instant attraction and immediate carnal urges that are not held back. There are numerous passionate encounters between Margot and the 300-year-old ghost, Margot and the SAS Agent (sometimes within a few hours of each other), and Cat and some random guest in the hotel. There were so many graphic sex scenes, I eventually started fast forwarding through the audio to avoid all the salacious details of how Margot lost control sexually. Simply put, too much sex and not enough substance.

Desiree Divine and Joel Leslie narrated the Audible version of the story and they did an admirable job. The change in voice was disjointed at times, with Joel only saying one word at times, probably because the dialogue wasn't the greatest. I've rated them average for their narration because they shouldn't be docked for the caliber of the source material, or the lack thereof. Simply put, if you are into reading numerous detailed sex scenes that really don't have anything to do with the story, Seduced is for you!

I received a copy of this audiobook in exchange for an unbiased review.

I really enjoyed this book by Ms. Tarah Scott sure I have read several of her books and liked all of them. This book seemed a bit different not only was it Scottish but a historical okay you have got me hooked, because I really like to read both genres but lastly there was a bit of a suspense and fantasy element too which surprisingly I like to read as well. Plus Ms. Scott knows how to write an intriguing captivating suspenseful story with wonderful plot twists/turns and amazingly fully developed major/minor characters that I instantly got pulled into the book.
Margot has a job to do to prove her supposed best friend Cat killed her husband or rather Margot’s cousin. Margot leaves Mississippi to do exactly that finding herself in Scotland at a castle. Unfortunately when Margot arrives there’s a mystery and a 300 year old murder surrounding the castle that she also must solve. As Margot delves more into the murders of her cousin and the mystery surrounding Lord Colin Morrison she can’t help but be seduced by Colin or much less desire him. Meanwhile Agent Charles McNeil also is entranced and in love with Margot but can he save her from harm and Colin.
I loved Margot she seemed like such a sensible strong heroine that she was willing to figure out what happened to her cousin and Colin. I even began to like Cat well at least in the beginning plus the relationship that Margot and her had. I really doubted her as a viable murder suspect but you know I felt the same way about Colin. I really did wonder what happened with Logan in a sense even though the story ended nicely I really wanted Margot to end up with Logan. Charlie was okay, hot and handsome so there was that but I just didn’t trust him or his motives even though they were supposedly good. There was just something about Logan maybe it had something to do with him being Scottish, hot and a lord too. Maybe Ms. Scott will tell his story someday. I guess in a sense I wasn’t ready for the book to end. Despite wanting more I can recommend the story and will definitely get more books from Ms. Scott!

Labyrinth has so many fantastic elements. They are combined in this tale of murder mystery, a broken friendship, and a woman caught between two men she loves. Readers are given a world where a cursed lord still haunts his castle, trying to free himself from the curse that has trapped him for centuries. Females who stay in this haunted castle have erotic dreams that have the potential to become deadly. Voodoo, magic and de je vu keep cropping up to hinder the former deputy sheriff from getting to the bottom of her cousin’s murder.

Margot knows deep down that Cat is a black widow eagerly looking for her next victim. Margot finds it impossible to deny the invitation that Cat presents to her. Margot leaves backwater Mississippi and her job as a deputy sheriff to go on a journey to Scotland to prove once and for all that Cat is a murderer. What she ultimately discovers is hauntings, magic and love.

I find it difficult to not give spoilers. This is a twisty tale that surprised me on more than one occasion. Cat is a sneaky woman with many tricks up her sleeve. She has a larger goal in mind than Margot ever thought possible. The castle and its legendary history are captivating. The painting of the castle and what it actually is adds mystique to this magical tale.

The sex scenes dream and otherwise are tastefully erotic. I found myself not sure who I wanted Margot to get her happily ever after with. I found that I wanted both men to get their happily ever after with Margot. The problem with that outcome was the fact that this was not a ménage.

Amazingly perfect happily ever after ending! I was so tempted to skim the ending. I felt something big approaching and I saw the potential for it to go frustratingly horribly wrong. I didn’t want it to go in that direction and it easily could have happened. It didn’t. Tarah put the absolute best ending into this story.

Tarah Scott does not just deliver a romance story, or a mystery, or even a paranormal story. She decides to mix them all and then some in her book, Labyrinth.

This is the story of a woman determined to resolve the murder of her cousin she thinks was committed by her best friend. Now, she is in an old Scottish castle having steamy dreams and finding a lot of mysterious things. The biggest thing is the painting that could be trapping a Scottish lord in it. He can only escape when he seduces a woman who gives herself to him knowing who he is and how she may never return. The result? Death to the one who cannot do just that. It's just a ghost story, right?

This is a very unique story that keeps you reading just to know what is going to happen next and what that will lead to. Ms. Scott is one that weaves a tale full of suspense and wonder. The characters are okay. I think Margot and Cat were the most developed, but the rest seemed to be rather flat. I could have seen Charlie and a few others much more developed.

A few scenes were confusing to me but later the matter was cleared up. The division between reality and dream is not always clear. I had to read carefully to determine what 'world' Margot was in.

Warning - this book is very graphic. Just a few pages are read before another hot scene shows up and these are not short. The language is bold. If you do not like these scenes or the coarse language used, you might not want to read this. The F-bomb is a regular occurrence throughout the book.

Ms. Scott has the basis for a really good story that I would love to have scene developed further. My personal opinion is that there was too much crude language and the sex scenes were more sex than anything and could have been more intense if they did not start off so intense in the very beginning.

Seduced begins with Deputy Sheriff Margot Saulnier still trying to prove that her best friend Cat has murdered her husband, Donny who is also Margot's cousin. The problem is that Cat has left Mississippi for Scotland. Four years later, out of the blue, Cat invites Margot to her castle, Castle Morrison. After Margot has been told by the Mississippi Sheriff Department was to lay off the case and not to be involved, Margot turned in her badge to pursued and bring Cat to justice for the murder of her cousin.

What Margot didn't know was that SAS Agent Charles McNeil is also on the case. Several women has turned up missing and all trails lead to Castle Morrison. The castle is rumored that the ghost of Lord Colin Morrison has been imprisoned and is trying to break the spell that imprison him.

There is a bit of a love triangle involved and a bit of a surprise that the blurb didn't mentioned. Readers/listeners will find out toward the middle of the story.

What I didn't like was that Margot accepted the dreams twice when the ghost of Lord Colin Morrison visited her. Although the story mentioned that Margot was a hellion in her youth, she was more reserved as an adult. The person that she currently is reverted back to being a hellion. She didn't fight back until she was in the dungeon chained in a deja vu.

The narrators, Desiree Divine and Joel Leslie does a very good job in narrating the story. Desiree provided the Southern charm in Margot while Joel provided the English and Scottish voices for the male characters in the story. As a note, Joel's narrative voice is a bit difficult to listening to if the the listener has background noise such as driving in the car or people talking in the office. I had to rewind several times just to hear what Joel is saying.

I was given this audiobook by the author/narrators/publisher via Audiobook Blast in exchange for an honest review. I was not compensated or influenced in any way for writing this review.

This is not the first book I have read of Tarah Scott's. She has such a way of writing and incorporating History into her Erotica scenes that before you know it you are halfway through the book. Labyrinth is no different as a matter of fact I LOVED IT so much I read it twice! Hahaha crazy you say well yes but this book took me by surprise. I loved all the sex scenes and the story that was unfolding before me.

Margot is a police woman on a mission. Someone close to her has died and she knows in her gut that he was murdered by her friend Cat. She is not sure how or why she has killed him but she knows in her heart that she is responsible for his death. Margot decides she is going to follow her gut and pursue Cat to Scotland. Once in Scotland Margot starts to see things that she is not really sure she believes in. See Margot does not believe in the supernatural but when she gets to Scotland she is told of a Lord who wines and dines his women to see if they can break the spell he is under. If they can not break the spell then he kills them.

All Margot knows is that she has to see what has happened to Cat and why she is so secretive and once she sees Cat and this Lord she knows something is wrong. Only Margot is about to find out what love is. She falls for two men and caught up in this crazy web of lust and love she is not sure who she wants to be with. She knows she cares for both men and when she goes to make a decision as to who she wants the decision is made for her and she ends up with the one man she is supposed to be with.

This is a must read book! Want some great sex scenes and a swoon worthy lover... This is the book for you!

Unusual and interesting. Hmm…. I was really looking forward to this story. For me this story was just choppy, it just didn't flow well. I listened to the story twice to see if I missed something. I think part of it was because of the narration the other part was the story itself. While overall the story is entertaining and interesting I think I would have enjoyed the story much more had I read it instead of listened.

Ghosts, voodoo, murder, magic, time-travel, suspense, mystery, betrayal and more. For a shorter book there is a lot going on. Paranormal romance with several twists.

Personally, I would classify the story as more erotica than romance. Sometimes I like a little more story with my steamy romance. That was the case here. If you don't like a lot of hot & steamy sex in your books you need to keep moving this is not the book for you.

I think this is the first time I have listened Desiree Divine narrate a book. I hate to say it but I just didn't care for her narration. Her narrative parts just didn't flow well. Many times her narration sounded rushed and had odd pauses, other times it would flow nicely. Her character voices were good. She does have a pleasant voice.

Joel Leslie's narration was great. Really good character voices. Nice deep voice just how you would want your 300 year old Scottish Lord to sound.

Margot is determined to prove once and for all that Cat is a murderer even if that means evading the SAS agent sent to watch her and tracking Cat down in Scotland where things start to get really freaky. It is in Scotland where Margot meets the mysterious lord that legend says kills his lovers when they are unable to free him from his curse. She doesn’t believe in any of that and is definitely not afraid of some man, but she will soon find out that there are far stranger things in this world than she could have imagined.
I loved this story and all of the magic and mystery woven into the tale mixed with a healthy dose of romance.
Margot is a woman who will do whatever it takes to stop a murderer. What she doesn’t count on is love. She really was a great character and I highly enjoyed going on this adventure with her. I believe her experiences help show even though life doesn’t always turn out the way we wanted it too, it always seems to work out in the end.
The romance was beautiful and at times sad. I loved both men in this story just as Margot did and I was satisfied with the way things worked out in the end, though it wasn’t what I expected.
I highly recommend Labyrinth by Tarah Scott to anyone who loves a great mystery with just the right amount of romance.

Some minds are wickedly devious in how they think and this author is one of them. I mean this in a good way. With her combination of precise detailed descriptions throughout her scenes and the wildly attractive fully developed characters the reader will be drawn into this erotic story. This story had me on the edge of my seat as the book wove a sensual story of a curse and the mystery around it. Though it sounds like something I didn't want to read as serial killers just down right scare me....it does it in a manner that drew me in but didn't repulse me, in fact I couldn't put the book down till I was done.

The ending where she choose between the two she had come to love tore me apart. And though I understood why she did it I cried. The reader will be pleased with the ending but it is not your typical ending. It is a great surprise and you will have tears...tears of happiness and wonder.

Honestly I give this 5 STARS for being even more that I could of expected. Will you give it a try and see for yourself?

Combining a murder mystery, black magic, suspense, a steamy romance and elements of time travel all presented with a near-complete and complex background, this book will have you contemplating the ‘who did it’, and that will change repeatedly before finally having that answer. Along the way you will be distracted by the clever character development, with characters developed and introduced that serve the story while providing twists and turns that demand you pay attention but still turn that page.

Additionally, a steamy hot romance intertwines and serves as a nice distraction from the never-ending barrage of background information, while presenting another side of the characters that helps to fix their images for the reader. A very entertaining read that makes this an author to watch!

I was provided an eBook copy from the author for purpose of honest review for Full Moon Bites tours. I was not compensated for this review, and all conclusions are my own responsibility.

Labyrinth was a hard book to categorize. It throws in history, romance, erotica, paranormal and suspense. Yes, I kid you not you experience all of these. From the very hot sex scenes to the highlands of Scotland to the mystery of a Highland Lord forever spelled into a painting to a handsome SAS agent trying to know the heroines socks off. I really enjoyed the ride that Tarah Scott takes you on in this book. Margot is an unforgettable heroine. She is well written to include beauty, smarts and a touch of hard ass. Her beauty draws in the many men in the book, but its her smarts that help her to survive the plots of her best friend. Cat is also a well written, though predictable, villain. The mix of magic and superstition adds a wonderful level to this book. I highly recommend Labyrinth. Especially if you want your heart pounding not just from the suspense but from the very detailed and hot sex scenes.

“Anger shot through her. She hadn’t survived Thirty-two years in a Mississippi backwater town- twelve of those years on the Wilkinson County police force- to end up a damsel in distress” - Chapter Twenty-Two

I love Tarah’s books and Labyrinth is a great read that is full of Mystery, Voodoo Magic, steamy Erotic romance scenes and twists and turns, that will leave you thinking you know what is going to happen and then everything completely changes leaving you looking around thinking did that just happen!

Margot Saulnier is not one to mess with; she is one strong character who is determined to prove that her cousin’s death was not an accidental drowning. She ends up in Scotland determined to prove her ex-best friend is guilty of murder.

Wow! Tarah Scott had me on one heck of a roller coaster ride. Labyrinth has it all ... a different twist on paranormal, Erotic romance, suspense and mystery. The suspense had me up all night turning the pages. I couldn't put it down! Plus the romance was hot!

Margot, a Mississippi Deputy Sheriff, was invited by her friend Cat to visit her in Scotland and stay in her castle,Castel Morrison. Margot is more interested in nailing Cat for the death of her cousin and preventing Cat from killing again. Cat has her agenda too for inviting Margot to Castel Morrison, to break the spell that Colin Morrison, the Scottish Lord of Castle Morrison,is under. The question is can Margot make it out of the haunted castle alive and with her sanity?

As Margot investigates around Castle Morrison, she finds that not one but two men rent a big space in her heart. But reality only allows for her to be with one.

A very sexy time travel romance. Margot is trying to prove Cat is a murderer. She accepts her invitation to visit her Scottish castle. The castle has apparently got a ghost that seduces women who are then never seen again. Margot is having some very hot dreams about the ghost. This is a great suspence as well . We have to find out how things are happening and how to stop it. Very good fun .
