Mystery abounds in the books of Amazon Best Selling Author J.T. Lewis.

Living in Southeast Indiana, J.T. has always loved a mystery. Striving to bring readers a story packed full of action, adventure, and suspense has led to his current selection of titles.

His first full length novel, Murder! Too Close To Home, has been voted #1 on Goodreads Best Debut Mystery Series list. Since then JT's many novels have taken off, bringing readers action and adventure at every turn.

Also look for JT Lewis' Pepper and Longstreet YA mystery series. Having been compared to the old Hardy Boys and Nancy Drew mysteries, Pepper and Longstreet at first seem an unlikely duo.

Having discovered Jacob Longstreet standing in her kitchen one day, the ghost of a Civil War solder soon becomes Pepper's friend, as well as her partner in solving mysteries. Together, they find themselves in the most unlikely of situations as mysteries unfold around them.

An electrician by trade, at night JT Lewis morphs into a fictional detective with a keyboard, a transition that suits his need for creating exciting stories very much.

Entertaining read!

I want to thank J.T. Lewis for writing Pepper And Longstreet (Vol. 1, The Beginning). I am an avid reader. My granddaughter, however, is not. I've been trying for so long to get her interested in reading and I think J.T. Lewis just might be the answer! I can't wait to give this book to her!

I so enjoyed the interaction between Pepper and Longstreet in this short story. I can't wait until Vol. 2 comes out to see what other adventures are in store for Pepper, and if Longstreet finds his ride!

This is a wonderful YA short story and I highly recommend it. If you've been looking to get your young teenager hooked on reading, Pepper And Longstreet (Vol. 1, The Beginning) just might be the answer to your prayers.

Pepper is your average teenager in an average school, She stumbles onto a mystery and solves it along with her partner, Longstreet. Oh, and Longstreet happens to be something super special. So, maybe not so average!

Together they embark on serious adventures discovering all of the nooks and crannies of their hometown that they never knew existed!!

Growing up reading mysteries puts me right on track with this one. I would say that its right up there with the Nancy Drew Mysteries!

I highly recommend JT Lewis' new Pepper & Longstreet series!

"Wow, I'm Hooked On This Mystery Series"

Teens have great imaginations, and teens will really enjoy these fast paced short mysteries. In this first story, "The Beginning," Pepper Jones is a 16-year old girl who works at the pretzel stand at the mall. She also has a 'hobby' of wanting to solve mysteries. There is an increase in burglaries in her area and after marking a map reflecting the locations, she comes up with an idea where she and her 'partner' think the stolen goods might be hidden. Jacob Longstreet always seems to tag along with Pepper, even when she does not want him to sometimes. But he's instrumental in helping her stay safe during her escapades. I'd like to say so much more about Jacob, but it will ruin the first story for you. This is a very innovative story, extremely well written, shy on descriptions, but intense on action and suspense. Don't hesitate reading this shorty ... you'll want to read more adventures of "Pepper and Longstreet Investigators."
