A STEAMY THRILLER: YOU'LL WANT TO "LEAF" THE LIGHTS ON!

Neighbors can be peculiar. They can be mysterious, unfriendly, or a little too friendly. But if your neighbor smells like "Patchouli", you had better pack up and move!!! Unfortunately for Stu, he works as the building's handyman in addition to being a tenant. The poor guy wouldn't leave if he could though, because one whiff of the pungent plant's fragrance and he was hooked. As the days progress, he finds himself in quite a "stew". The woman next door seems to have some eccentricities. Or perhaps she doesn't really live alone . . . This is another of author Jerry McKinney's well-wrought tales. He knows how to weave a story that will make you wonder until the end. And then he may leave you breathless, satisfied, or craving more. But one thing is certain: You will be enthralled and entertained from start to finish!

He let curosity and his needs get the best of him. He also was the apartment handyman so he needed to know what was going on, didn't he? Although sometimes knowing too much and getting too involved can lead you down paths you can't get back up. It's the people, their problems, and the smells they emit. The smell, what is that lingering smell that invades your space? Stu, he likes his job and Jerry does an excellent job showing you how well he does his job and the interactions among the tenants. But sometimes, you never know what goes on behind the locked doors and perhaps it should stay that way.

Stu, the apartment handyman, cannot get Beth out of his mind. She’s beautiful, mysterious, seductive.... The scent of patchouli emanates from her apartment, and he finds it irresistible, but it might be too late by the time he finds out what the odor truly masks.

This story is smart, well written, and thoroughly sensual. Each page threw me in a new direction, so that by the time I reached the end, the final twist came as both satisfying and disturbing. It is a quick read, but it will haunt you long after you’ve cleared the pages. I give this story an enthusiastic five stars and recommend it to all fans of erotic horror.

I can still smell the patchouli within the senses of my mind....

This is the story of Stu, handyman to an apartment block. A new neighbour has moved in, and she seems to be surrounded by the scent of patchouli. He becomes obsessed with her and what is hiding behind her apartment door.

This was quite steamy for Jerry, and quite odd. I enjoyed it and it certainly made me think about the people around me and the secrets they are hiding! Stu found out and regretted it after! Another great tale from the twisted mind of Jerry McKinney, read it and enjoy it.

Jerry McKinney has a way with words and characters that make you cringe and cheer all at the same time.

Ahhhh the smell of Patchouli evokes passion, love, death....Check out the green eyed, hot girl in apartment 117. She looks like a playboy model, smells like heaven and makes you feel like a teenager. Then there is Irene, another hottie....she needs you to check out her plumbing.....

The scent of a woman....
When a new woman moves in next door to Stu, the apartment handyman, she captivates him to the point of no return. Her scent. Her eyes. Everything. This was a short read and definately worth it! Jerry writes great characters in great situations that keep you on the edge of your seat. Another great read by Jerry McKinney!
